An easy way to use your trim.
What you need:
Three 5 gallon buckets.
One twenty pound bag of ice
One smaller bucket that fits inside of the 5 gallon bucket
A mixing device
A set of bubble bags - you diyers can get small mesh bags at a paint store
A good amount of trim - you get aprox 1 gram of product for every oz of trim
Three 5 gallon buckets and then one bucket that will fit into one of the 5 gallon buckets.
Drill some holes in one of the buckets.
Take the smaller bucket and put it in a 5 gallon bucket. The purpose of this step is that it makes things a lot easier to drain because you don't have to lift the bags as much.
Take the 5 gallon bucket with the holes in it and insert your bubble bags into this bucket. Now take the bucket with the bags and put it in the other bucket.
Place your trim in the remaining bucket and add some ice and water, enough to make a good slurry mixture.
Take your mixer and and mix up the trim, ice and water for thirty minutes. You want to keep the mixture ice cold for the entire thirty minutes so add some ice if you need to.
After thirty minutes of mixing, take the slurry and pour it into your bags. Let it sit for about an hour to drain and so the ice, if there is any, can melt. Next, lift your bags and collect whatever product is on each screen. Place the product on a hard surface to dry. This took 24 hours to dry.
Collect your dryed hash together and form it into one piece. An easy way to get it to do what you want is to put it in a baggy, wrap that in a paper bag and then put all of that on the dash of your car for a little while. This will soften it up and then you can easily form it into any shape you want.
