I have run some generic type bubble bags that preformed the same as the real bubble man bags.... Unfortunatly , they didnt last as long as my newer bubble man bags.. You gonna love your bags.. Just take your time when using them.. I usually mix for 5 mins let it set then mix again... Plenty of videos on youtube if ya need to get an idea... Hope ya get loads of gooey goodness !

Yeah, I have been watching all the videos. Haha. The jorge video and then this 8 part video where a guy makes bubble bag hash in the mountains of Jamaica. Can't wait. A buddy of mine is harvesting in two weeks and I am going to "practice" on his scraps. Anyone have any pics of bubble bag hash production?

Keep the "Water Leaves" out of the mix... The hash wil bubble better....

I have the 8 bag set, as well.... One technique is to use 2) Five gal buckets, and alternate the bags in each, so you can do two batches one after the other..... Sort of defeats the purpose of all the different micron bags, I know, but I found that I really did not see much of a diff btwn 73 and 90 micron hash, lol.....

So, I go using one bucket with 25m - 72m - 12o - 190 (25m hash is usually no good - 120m can be OK if it is clean of plant matter... )

And the other bucket contains the 45 - 90 - 160 - 220m bags.... (160m hash is also usually no good)

Enjoy..>! They are great, the Bags, are....

It's a trip to make and consume bubble hash. I only have 1 gallon bags, but the product is lovely. Different than dry sift, each has its own merits.
Make sure to dry the product thoroughly before balling it, or pressing it together...that's my only caveat. Enjoy!

what is the best way to press the hash?

@ Stasis: I considered buying the 4 bag 1 gal set, but after watching the Jorge video where he says the best quality is @ 45 microns then I had to get the 8 bag 1 gal set. What is your idea of the best "micron hash" and what do you mean by "water-leaves"? Do you mean fan leaves?

In the one gallon bag set, you can use the red, and orange bags like sifters as well. you dont have to use water with the bags, they are versitile. Just get bone dry materiial break it up pretty well. then put in into a round glass pyrex bowl that is the same width as the bags. then pull the bag over the bowl tight and turn it upside down, and hold it over a huge glass pan and shake until you stop getting kief. The quality of the kief depends on what size bag you use.

I then let that kief cure for 3 months, and then soft press it into some nice hash. Any plant matter in the mixture has broken down to carbon by that point.

Bubble Bags are excellent. My buddy bought his back in 2000 or so and they are still going strong. Just remember to rinse thoroughly and dry before storing. Have fun.
