well i ahve the pre-98 and the katsu running side by side and you can completly see the differences.. the katsu has more of a stretch and a reach . more space between the internodes.. the pre-98 stays short and squat almost no reach and very little stretch... same age. same light same nutes same grow medium. and different smells. the pre-98 is straight up chocolate coffeehash, katsu is more coffee mintwith a hashy undertone imo....dusty that pic is of the pre2k1 katsu cut.

One of the top Bubba threads 4sure guys great info and pics. Docta I didn't know u were the man like that, makin history. There's something about that pic DB posted of IGTs....and that stacked calyx action from OGR....dayum.

On the Katsu thing....I heard he had several cuts, then pared them down to one, but released a few of the different ones and not just his fav....so to say something is Katsu, what does that really mean? Asking because the one I got is called Katsu.

I think my Bubba might be the original. But I'm still not really sure yet. I'll bring some for you to try MysterX. Maybe we can figure this out.

As far as that old OG I got. I was thinking about it and I think it's justa Kush pheno of OG Kush. Because it doesn't taste like Bubba enough, IMO. Too lemony and it doesn't have that incense coffee hash thing going on, in the same way.
It's more of a sweet lemony slight coffee/chemmy taste to a heavy Kush influenced plant.
Do any of the Bubbas have these types of flavors.
I never heard of any Bubba like that. But who knows.
I do know that the old Kush pheno of OG I have is better then the Bubba I have, IMO. Better high, more complex flavor. Sound familiar to anyone?
No one ever answered my question about wether there was a sweet Lemony/chemmy Kush pheno of Bubba? Does this sound like any other Bubba cuts?

i think the small side nug crowns are usually the most beautiful looking nugs on the plant... Sure they may not be the biggest.. but usually they got the best calyxs, and just look o so delicious

looks like you have the pre 2k bubba to me its 100% for sure not the pre 98! it has that coffee kush taste if its the real deal!...

Here is my 1st Bubba I've flowered, @ 49 days. It's supposed to go until around 70 days, but the trich's are looking like she has less than a week from being done...Is this a Bubba Thing??? I've never toked bubba before, but I can already tell by the leaf shape and smell that bubba is made up of some kind of chemdawg/ogk...no denying it. This is no, "Hindu Kush x Bubblegum", like some have claimed, LOL! The pics do not do the buds justice, this shit is DANK & FROSTY!!! This gal is sooooo pretty in person!!

The next time I have some time, I'll pull her out of the garden for some better pics....until then, Enjoy!!
