this stuff came from california..

this stuff is strikingly similar to sour bubble!

almost everything about this weed reminds me of the low-yielding phenos of sour bubble!

smells and tastes more subtle tart/candy/fruity/grapey/lemony than the sfv og i usually get which i associate the cali 'kush' flavor with (offensive lemon pinesole with lots of extra added funk ya know?) lol.. so yeah. but this is a killer indica! and does taste great. the stuff is hard as a rock mostly golf balls and gooey textured even with a nice month cure but if you grind it properly it burns nice and even and clean white.

i can get a really nice buzz in two good hits no doubt





















and look at the last pic see i found a seed..

could be interesting.. we shall see.... i'll pop it soon!

Hehe, got alot of seedpacks that look just like that with the "S1 ?" on the label.

I haven't researched sour bubble but notice alot of folks say it reminds them of bubba, bubba reminds them of SB, etc....just a thought: maybe Bog wasn't honest about his genetics? Not like he didn't have ALOT of friends in high places back in the days on OG when clones were passed around like condoms at a planned parenthood meeting.

I get Bubba every so often, we had some a couple weeks ago that was so frosty. like extremely snow covered shit everyone i smoked with commented on it. my wife told me it looked like its covered in velvet lol.

i agree bubba is some strong medicine. 2 hits will definately send you off sailing for a little bit with a good stone. You have to watch out with the Bubba though. if you smoke a lot of Bubba you may build a tolerance. Me and a few buddies have noticed the same thing.

If you enjoy Bubba Kush I strongly recommend looking into placing Purple Kush... Very strong stone more head and body balanced than Bubba... stronger than Bubba overall and better taste and smell IMO. Even still Bubba is some awesome smoke, like that cofee dankyness.

Oh and about that "Cali Kush" smell you've come to associate with Kush... is like a pungeant Catpiss/Skunk mixture, if you smoke purple, orange, bubba, and OG, youll notice the "Kushiness" they all have in common. Strong shit all of em. good stuff

I have definitely made the claim before that Sour Bubble is almost indistinguishable from Bubba, and may in fact have been a Bubba backcross project. However, why would BOG change the name when he could have made a killing selling Bubba seeds that actually resemble the clone? I think the most likely scenario is a mixup somwhere along the line, though I would be more confident if I had grown out Bogbubble too to compare them, since BOG claims that Sour Bubble comes from Bogbubble. Anyway, bottom line is Bubba is bomb, and so is Sour Bubble.

I have noticed the similarity in looks and have had comment from someone who has seen the bubba and they thought my sourbubble was the same thing.........looks like Bog had the bubba early and he called it Sour bubble.

There is (or was...I *think* it's still around) a thread from Rez about Bog and his Sour Bubble compared to Bubba Kush. Can't remember exactly what was being discussed, but there's definitely been similarities discussed before. Personally, I think this is great, given that the chance of scoring Sour Bubble seeds is a little better than some Bubba Kush s1(although, lately it seems that even scoring BOG's stock is next to impossible)

i have access to a sour b clone but it was chosen as the best high yielding specimen available from 30 beans.. i smoked a lot of the low yielding phenos when my friend did his selection run and all the lower end yielders were pretty much spot on with what this bubba is. sour b may have been a tad sweeter.

its weird for sure but i'm convinced there is a close relationship here.

you can't deny that shit. and i know i have great senses when it comes to cannabis.

today i did notice a tiny bit more kush 'funk' when i opened the jar. they must have been a little 'tired' yesterday from all the hustle and bustle and weren't getting that note clearly across. i can smell it now. still not quite sfv level but yeah i'd say its kushy.

but yeah this seed could prove pretty valuable if it can get a nice representation of bubba genes in my garden.

1st off sour bubble is like bubba. bubba was around long before bog create sour bubble. second. they look similar but the taste and smell are completly different. sour bubble is more sweet bubblgummy with minor hashy undertones since its a slecet bubblegum pheno that was worked from his bogbubble if i rememebr correct or his bogglegum one of the 2nd.. bubba is straight up chocolate covered coffee beans. but your pics look like the bubba s1 nugs. so that seed is a s2 imo...either way good looking smoke. oh and drkatz brutha dam son looking fire there

Bubba Kush is nice, I smoked some a few days ago. Had a nice smell, was harsh on my throat though (I believe it was either the piece or the drying/curing of that bud that did it not the strain). The high is nice, relaxing, and euphoric.
