Bubba Kush yield question

I am wondering if I wanted to do Bubba kush in a SOG garden, and I only veg'd for lets say two weeks after clones take root, and then put them on 12 on 12 off, what should I expect for yield under optimal condition ie great light and nutes. Like is it possible to get 10 grams per plant?

Hey man be careful mentioning that strain around here. Seems like there are a lot of people hating on the cali kushes around here.

I love em though. smokin on some L.A. Confidential right now. Grow that bubba . wish I had it myself.

oh yea 10g a plant is minimal at least. Top notch smoke but the yield is a sacriface.....real dense golf balls may not look like much but weight is there trust me!

I just finished out my bubba in a SOG type setup with a 2 week veg and am less than impressed. I am guessing an avg of 5-10g each. Growing conditions weren't optimal but I was really hoping for more. The hash plant in the same setup put it to shame. They are ridiculously frosty and the smell sends ya to heaven... just small.

Yeild question; It depends how much light and how much C02 is in the room you will need to have at least !k of MH light during the vegeing stage and the 1k or more during flowering, more light means more flowering and bud to light ratio, and many plants in a sea of green if it is to dense then most of your flowering and bud production will be where the light can pentrate and if you have good plant health and good nutrients during both stages of growth.

they are going into a rotating garden so if I get 10 grams per plant I will be extremely happy! garden has 25 arms rotating under 2 HPS lights and willl have LED's shooting in from sides with C02., arms can fit 10 - 4 inch rockwell cubes each, so 10 plants per arm, but I am going to do less for more room per plant and stagger them, 7 plants on one arm and 6 on the next. 13 arms with 7 and 12 arms with 6 which gives a total of 162 plants. at 10 grams each would give me 1620 grams, so 10 grams per plant will make me extremely happy!

I believe the bubba may not be optimal for sog. I think Kush plants tend to be good for sog but the bubba is an exception. Jugding from my experience and other posts it seems that bubba should be vegged for at least one month to achieve a respectable yield.

Bubba would be a great sea of green plant.
It grows perfect for that. Not alot of branching. the branches stay close to the stock. So you can get em tall without crowding.

Jdog that is what i figured, well real soon I will find out for myself once I get my mothers big enough to cut enough clones.

You can easily attain more than 10grams off a sog garden, even up to or more than 14grams per plant with a week veg. In my experience I've needed multiple Bubba Kush mother plants to supply the numerous cuts it takes for sog! Bubba just doesn't branch enough and doesn't put out as many cuts as many other strains...

why the short veg? give her 1 to 2 months then you get something back.

If your gonna sog them then I think short veg. And my plants are already in 3.5in containers under 600watt with roots coming out before i transplant them to the 1000watters, so with my set up they don't need to veg that long. But I don't sog Bubba Kush anymore because it took too many mothers...Now I do three weeks veg and get two or more oz per plant with nine under each 1000watter, guarantees over 1lb per light and the plants have a lot of space between them to help with airflow and the side nugs get just as delicious as the tops due to space.

And, it always gives me something back!!!

400 watt light, scrog(but dont need to be), no c02, 2 week veg, no nutes xept moonshine mix, 62 days and I got 22 grams. The other run was 18g per plant.
I also think you double your yield with another 2 week veg~

my bubba is growing slowly compared to some strains, as far as heigth is concerned. after 2 months veg, its only 37" tall, it is bushy and has a huge trunk and very healthy root system. I really cant tell you how its gonna end, Ive not grown bubba before, but you can follow along if you want. this clone is an old line, indirectly from 420m. In tree grows, Ive seen pictures of this strain giving almost 3 lbs per tree kbs style.

U should be able to get way more that that..
