Bubba Kush, OG Kush and anxiety

On Dr. Greenthumbs site he lists Bubba Kush and OG Kush as varieties with no anxiety or paranoia. Does this compare with any members here?

These are the symptoms that made me give up smoking 30 years ago and I'd like to try weed again to deal with the pain I'm having after a recent spinal cord injury.

anxiety & paranoia, for the most part, are in the eye of the beholder. a person who doesn't smoke much could easily feel both when trying a potent strain, no matter what the breeder suggests is true.

fwiw, most people tend to associate the 'racy,' rapid heartbeat sort of high with sativa & sativa-dominant strains. i've known people to flat out turn down a nice smoke of Jack Herer or Super Silver Haze with just that excuse: 'it makes me paranoid'.

one might guess that Dr. Greenthumb is assuming the higher levels of sedating CBDs in indica/indica-doms & consequently lower values of TCH/THCV-- the more actively psychoactive cannabinoids-- makes the afore mentioned Kush varieties 'less paranoid'.

the cannabinoids & their effects on you is more about how YOUR body & mind process them!

Thinking back at the time I quite smoking, you could be right. I was using a unknown homegrown raised outside under a lot of stress, that is, little water and fertilizer. I think they wre indica's. A friend said it was the strongest smoke he'd ever had.

very anti anxiety strains for indica's, og's a little stronger, but bubba's perfect for going to the mountains and shit, or even rolling out to the beach. I think its because your so stupifyed when you blaze it that you really cant tell about the bullshits of life, perfect for the bills.

I heard Flo by DJ Short was a strain with the least of these side effects. I have had problems with depression, thinking about death, paranoia and pretty much all the problems in my life being magnified 20 times when smoking pot, so I tried the Flo. It was perfect for me, and now after smoking it for a time being, it seems to have raised my amunity level from nil to much better - and now I can even enjoy some of the more potent strains. Really, I don't think it has much to do with it being Sativa or Indica. I found Sativa's to be better actually. What might work is smoke some low potency herb to get your amunity up, and then move on to something a little stronger. I believe when you experience these symptoms, it slows your smoking, and in turn lowers your amunity - so everything hits you harder when you do decide to smoke. Kind of a snow ball effect. Just my experience, but everyone is different. Good luck!

for real dig in to DJ shorts collection, for anxiety sometimes pot magnifies paranoia after blazing for like 3 months straight without a day in between, which occurs more often then Id like personally, lol, but I say fuck it I smoke because its a privlege to get fucking wasted off the best shit in the world like we do, why am I bitchin, lol. I notice back in the days when I didnt smoke in college and was just running pounds around of middies I really didnt give a shit at all when I was holding it, fuck I loved thoughs days! the paranoia's built over time...

OG Kush can cause some paranoia when taken early. Let it ripen fully before harvest. Never had a problem with Bubba.

not only are they definatly not real in any way shape or form, but he can't even come up with an origional description of each.... worthless.

i'd just want uber dank buds....original or s1's wouldn't matter to me as long as it was knockout and tasty....people say the s1's don't have the same flavor sometimes but like u say i'd rather have something instead of nothing.
