Hey all!
Figured I would start a new thread for my ID soil adventures! Currently, strains being run are: Gorilla Grape x Goji OG, SSYM x Goji OG, Woodstock OG x Goji OG, Floji, C99 IBL, Columbian Gold, Heavy Berry, Hermit's Threshold, GDP x AK, Golden Tiger, Double Thai, Vietnam Black x Thai, Pineapple Thai, "Magic Mike", and Killer Kush F1 (fast version). Here are some quick pics of what's currently going on. Enjoy!

Here's the rooms as of today. Fairly pleased with how everything is going. Got a few more changes to make, but its looking like this upcoming run might be a real game changer! In the meantime, I've been training the hell out of all of my plants in the veg room, anticipating the end of my current "select and cull" run in the flower room. Here are some pics of everything. Enjoy!

Really nice looking plants. I really like that little veg set-up you have going on there. I see your using some of those yo-yo hangers for the lights. I stopped using them when a few of them broke.

The line actually snapped in half. Just a little friendly advice , as It always sucks to find a fixture on top of plants. I like the rope ratchets way better.

Thanks, DTOG! :) Its funny that you say/see that. The two on that fixture are literally the only two left in my garden! Haha I've been slowly replacing them with rope ratchets, as I hate the way that they need to get lowered. I've luckily never had a line break, but I definitely believe it could happen! IME, I have always broken the spring for the automatic retraction or the locking mechanism first. Good looks though, man! :) They will be replaced soon enough!

Hey all!
TP'ed old moms today, and started to get them ready for the flower room. Took a few more cuts of varieties that I hadn't cloned yet, and also reorganized the flower room and trained some aero plants. Everything seems to be doing quite well. The soil side is kind of a mess, but its only because I'm using it to get quick samples of strains and haven't been training them. Within 3-4 months, I'll have samples of most of the stock Xekki sent me, and hopefully I will also be running the new seedlings that FWE sent me through the flower room. Looks like a week or two on some of the HT and GDPxAK currently in the flower room and a couple more weeks after that for the AK. Overall, everything is looking good, but I must adhere to a pretty tight schedule if I want this all to flow smoothly. Here goes nothing!

@Heady Blunts: Thanks, man! I use a mix of different soils/sand from around my area. I then amend that soil with aged manure and composted material. For supplements, I add Happy Frog All Purpose Fertilizer, and sometimes Humboldt Big Up during flower. I am, however, in process of switching to a LOS based soil mix, so keep an eye out for that! :)

Hey all!
Everything is going great in the rooms. I've got a couple plants in the aero that are behind the others, but I'm gonna move them around tomorrow to help them catch up, not to mention that the trellis netting will help even everything out in the flower room. Seedlings are all taking off, but unfortunately I am having issues with the Goji F2s again. None have popped yet, but I'll be diligent and get one soon enough! :) Everything else looks great though, and I think the change to 11/13 in the flower room is helping quite a bit too. The VBT is actually starting to pack on weight now, so that's good :) Here's some quick pics from this morning!

How far along are you with that one. What type of lightING are you using. I want to get as much knowledge as I can through out all my reading. I want to make sure I have everything dialed in. Like they say it only gets better with time and knowledge.

No problem at all man! :) My current setup for my soil side is a 1000W HPS on a 9' track light mover. I'm currently using this side of the room as a "select and cull" section, so that I may start some breeding projects soon. This is also why nothing is trained like I usually do! :p The Afgan Kush is from World of Seeds (a freebie I got a while back) and is at about 7 weeks. It typically finishes in 9-10 IME, but sometimes more or less depending on environment.

I am going to be using a 1000 w as well for flower. I am using a 8 bulb T5 right now for veg. I was thinking of switching to a 1000 w mh but I was thinking of saving the electric. Don't think that much more will help to much in veg. I am sure it would help but I think more beneficial during flowering.

Right on! :) I use a 600W MH over my vegetative aero system, but its a bit unnecessary. The main reason I use it is because it keeps my internode distances short, and also prepares them for the light jump to my 1500W HPS above my flower aerosystem. For soil plants, I use T5s with no issue. I like to slow my vegging down a bit, as I can overload my flower room quite easily, and the T5s create slower growth and make tighter internodes. I used to use MHs for flower, but have found that I prefer HPS, or using MH as a supplement to the spectrum, especially the first two weeks to decrease stretch. IME, MHs, unless they are CMH, get hotter and are less efficient than HPS as well.
