Nope, no gender indicators yet as far as I can see, one thing I hadn't realised initially is that while the main stem is trifoliar the limbs mine are producing are bifoliar, I don't know why but for some reason I'd assumed the tri branching pattern would repeat.

I didn't take that photo too long ago and aside from the branches developing my nuts look almost the same as last time you saw them ;-)
I'll hopefully get some up soon though

I know I promised photos in the next update, but its just a quick one lol.
DP. in 95% of the plants, the branches will be bifoliar, and in the other 5% the branches will start out bifoliar and turn trifoliar at around the 3rd node, sometimes you get a mix of the two branch types on the same plant. The trait is still passed on though even if you take a bifoliar branch as a clone, clone that clone for a few times each being bifoliar and then apply or take pollen. So don't let that little fact seem like a problem in your plans.

Has the ratio of plants with tri branches been increasing with the ratio of tri-stemmed plants?
It's amazing how much variance there is in these plants.

No that's remained pretty much the same, I suspect there were alternative ways in which I could have increased that, and there were a few chances I know I missed and kicked myself for, perhaps that's an improvement to be made at a later date, tri 2.0 as it were.

K first 3 have now shown sex, as usual males show first, I'll have to split this post over 3 posts though as there are too many pics for 1, I'm limited to 5 per post I think, top, side and pre flower for each plant. Can anyone tell me how you make each pic small that expands as you put the cursor over it?

Demon and 944, thanks but I'm annoyed with myself on the close ups, I had the whitebalance set for the flash, which doesn't fire in macro mode, so the pics came out yellow from hps overspill. I should have reset the whitebalance for the macros and it completely slipped my mind till I got them into the laptop, at which point I couldn't be bothered doing them again.

'sport' is a term used in horticulture for a mutation that happens on an existing plant. for example many rose varieties are 'sports' - where a single branch is different from the rest of the bush. usually they are propagated vegetatively by grafting buds onto a different rootstock.

I was just thinking, when Bruised Nuts is complete, you could cross it to a really fusty Skunk and call your creation "Sweaty Bollocks".
A cross to Brightsides clone could result in "Cheesy Knackers"

I can see it now, GMT says "That Afghan is OK, but have you tasted my Sweaty Bollocks yet?"
