Packn, mate, great to see you online. Whereve you been? You and mgj vanished at the same time. Place isn't quite the same without our official leaf smoker.

Available in December from the bay as III. Two outcross bxs to come with, II a cross to chemy Jones back crossed to the bn and IV which is sssdhxecsd to bn and back crossed to bn. So pure bn, and 2 bns with a hint of. Personally the IIs are nicer than the IVs. Both free with the IIIs.
Don't look for hype, this is the one heads up

Bump.
Ok, got a couple of questions if you GMT or someone else knows. My excuses if they've been answered before.

If collecting pollen from a three leafed male, will be relevant which pods or should be selectively taken from the stall internodes (considering the side branches are normal two leafers)?

How about revegging, will it keep the trait?

Hello GMT, I really appreciate you directing me to your previous thread, which lead me to this one. Fascinating, informative reads. Thanks for all your efforts.

Wow, you read both threads with no pictures, I really didn't think anyone would do that at this point. I've been missing my tris lately, I may do another run with them towards the end of the year. I just have other projects going on at the moment.

Nice plants GMT. I have a little trifoil seedling that I am pretty excited about. Its Summer Breeze, so it should be a fairly sativa-dominant plant. I have no idea how to go about stabilizing it though.

No me neither mate lol. I spent 20 years trying, went from one example, through to one in 66, all the way to one in 3. Not stabilised yet though.
Tri x bi makes more tri, tri x tri makes even more. Each generation they get a little more common. Soon you start to see quads and fasciated plants in the mix. The temptation to leave the yellow brick road is strong. Keep to the tri x tri route and they get common.
Not much interest in them though, no one was interested when they hit seedbay.

I'm sure there is someone out there who wants such a thing! If I were in a legal state I would be all over the opportunity to grow something fun and new. I just really love the way these things grow.

Yes, I did, and really enjoyed learning something new! I'm amazed I've never come across this before, having planted my first seeds at 16 back in '76 ! The tri I've got is one of the first 24 I popped of a (M) black cherry soda x (F) ChemD I did.
Again, really impressed with your efforts. I'll be looking further into your threads.

I'd have a go at growing them. Sound interesting.

I'd imagine it's the BCS. Subcool/TGA got it and worked with it back when he was still in Oregon.I was gifted 5 BCS f1's at a harvest party/competition a couple years ago. Got one male out of the bunch, crossed it with 12 other strains, including itself.

I sorted through the batch my Tri came from today, 17 out of 24 are female. The tri's a male. Maybe I'll isolate it and save the pollen, then crack some of my BCS x BCS and look for a tri female !
So much has come out of that blueberry ! I had a vendor booth at the Humboldt emerald cup it's first couple years, had some interesting conversations with both Sub and DJ once after a panel discussion they did on breeding and their goals.

Hey Mars, you must spend as much time as I do here to find this thread, nice to see you here.

Rude Dog, the germination rates have fallen off now. They've been in the freezer for that long. That's another reason I need to do another run with them. I also thought they'd look good for Mars under their LED. Very alien looking plants. Thought they like the tag line "getting extra from mars" or something. I had a batch ready for a member here who wanted them, but with I'll health at the start of the year, and then the lock down, I didn't get round to sending them out. He's now lost interest and has another project under way. If you are in the UK, check my mats thread out later in the year, and hit me up when the fresh seeds are ready. Otherwise you'll have to pick up a pack from the server auction when the new seeds are ready. I'll list em cheap and since there's no interest, you shouldn't have any probs getting them. Its just that I don't send anything across borders.

MrMMJ, that makes sense. I looked into it at length, they are a 1 in 100,000 shot in any line, but common in the opt descendants. Maybe 1 in 200 or so. Tom Hill said selfing would be the best way to try and get it stable. He maybe right, but I don't play with chemicals. Maybe you do?

I've never tried selfing, just regular crossing. I think I'll flower the male tri with a couple of his sister's and see what I get. If I find a tri female, maybe I'll self it. Started reading up on the silver technique.

Mmj, I'd love to see what comes from a selfed tri. If you give it a go, post a link or at least the results here will ya.

Klompen, lots of fun to be had with a new toy, just as likely to be female as male.
