Is it better to just add strait buds to the brownie mix or to make canna butter? Ive never done either and was thinking of making brownies as well as other bud snacks for this upcoming 420. Ive heard that canna butter is much better then i've also heard that adding strait weed is awsome too. Cannabutter seems like alot of work so tell me if its worth it.

If I were you I would just use cannabis oil, with canola oil or vegetable oil, it is easier to make and it stores better.

Green- it is defienetly easier and better in my opinion, here is a link that you can use as a general guide,

and if you have less weed then the recipe calls for just decrease the dosage of oil like half ounce=24 ounces oil, quarter=12 ounces oil and so on, I disagree with a few things in that faq though, like you don't need a funnel, and I don't think you should use the recommended oil dosage on the brownie box you should be going a little bit over like 3/4 cup instead of 1/2 should be nice. me and my friend once made a batch with about 1 full cup becasue we didn't know how much to put in, and you could seriously eat one in the morning and be high well into the night, and that was with mid-grade weed, I wouldn't use more than a cup though then the brownies would just be too oily. Lightweights and first time smokers might want to be careful with a mixture like that though. have a nice 420!

Cannaoil:I made it using an ounce of herb and 20 ounces canola oil,not the 48 ounces in the faq.

Made brownies with the oil according to recipe 1/3 cup oil.

One brownie would give you a slight buzz,a warm body type sensation.
Next time ill double up on the oil and maybe add herb to the mix.

i use Ed Rosenthals crockpot method from his cooking book. I use 2cups of water for every 1cup of butter. Mix in a oz or 2 of nice trim. cook and stir for 10-12hrs. Then Poor the butter and material through a Cheese Cloth into a container. Then friderate until butter has seperated from the water. Alot of water should evaporate off as it is cooked. The water will be under the solid butter. Take the butter out of water and store in tupperwater as it will go bad. Good Luck Jubei

I've had the most success with any recipe by using honey oil thc extract. It just melts right into whatever liquid you are using. Not sure if that is good info for anyone, but I absolutely love it.

you need a large coffee/spice grinder, canning jars, a kitchen scale, and a juice extracting centrifuge.

it's easy to manufacture when the right tools are availible.

i reccomend coconut oil.

the buzz is very heavy and long lasting, it's pretty cool, also I would like to add to this thread that the extra strong brownie mixture I was talking about above was actually 1 and 1/2 cups not one cup, and instead of 3/4 for normal dosed brownies I would put about 3/4 to 1 cup. You might want to expirement with the cooking time of the oil with weed in it, I am not an expert but you probably don't have to do it for two hours, you could probably get the same effect with half an hour to one hour. I think the whole cooking time of the weed in oil is sort of uncharted territory for cooking with weed, even though people have been doing it for years, sort of like how no one really knows much about the ocean even though we've been studying it for years, I truly believe that, everyone says different times. Also I would like to recommend making brownies from Apollo 11 G4 trim sometime they make some really trippy brownies.

Anyway, what I am getting at with all of this is that you should use 3/4 to 1 cup for normal dosed brownies and 1 and 1/2 cup for extra strong brownies, and I think that this is what you would call 'the perfect brownie recipe'.
