Brown Spots, yellow leaves and purple stems!! HELP ME!

PARADOX

hello

On my og kush the bottom leaves are turning yellow and allmost all the leaves have lots of small brown spots. All the stems are dark purple also.. The plant is in a perlite, peat, vermeculite, worm casting mix. They are vegging under a 600w mh 24/7 with temps at about 26-28 degrees C. I PH the water to about 6.2-6.5. I checked the Ph on the run off and it came in at a very low 4.5.. How do i go abouts fixing this?

Im going to post some pics tonight when i get to a good computer to do so. Any ideas what it could be?? I really dont want my only OG cut to die on me :S

thanks

Nutes will concentrate in the medium, especially if you let them dry too much between waterings. As the salts concentrate the acidity goes up. That's why you perfect pH has gone way low down in the pot. I'm thinking flush well, and give lighter nutes from now on.

Peat is very acidic (3-4) and proper peat mixes have lime added to balance out the peat.

For you, yes gradually raise the ph of the water until the runoff starts coming up, then go back closer to 6.3 until you get 6.3 in = 6.3 out (approx). Do it gradually so you don't shock the plants with a large ph swing.

What are you feeding? Yellow older leaves is N def. Either you aren't feeding enough or any grow, or this happens from overwater/poor drainage conditions. EWC do not have a lot of N, it is a very weak fert, but chock full of goodness.

Brown spots sounds like calcium def...either from not enough and lockout from your low ph.
