What Technique are you using? hand watering small rockwool cubes
What substrate/medium are you using?(Hydroton, RockWool etc.) little rockwool cubes the tiny ones you use to fill pots.
What is the Water temperature? 58%-65%
What color are your roots? White? Brown? Are your roots slimy? white
What Nutrient's are you using? How much of each if using multiple? I was using peters 20-20-20 during veg evry other watering now I use the gh 3 part @1/2tsp veg 1tsp micro 1 1/2 tsp bloom per gallon + 1/2 tsp gallon epsom salts per gallon every 3rd watering
What is the TDS/EC/PPM you are using?..... I dont know I do know the tap comes out @ 175-250ppm
What is the pH of the "Tank"? we mix the nutes @ 5.5-5.8
Are you sure your calibration is correct on your equiptment? we use the drops
When was your last watering? yesterday 6hrs before lights out
What is your water temps? 58-65%
When was your last feeding change? (ie. grow-bloom-micro-additional) last week
How often do you clean your system: example: Flush out water replace with clean water and nutrients? I flush with cleah h2o every 2 weeks for a full day then replace with 1/2 strenght nutes for a day or tue then back to normal.
What size bulb are you using? 1000w HPS
What is the distance to the canopy? 24in
What is your RH Factor(Relative Humidity)? 25%
What is the canopy temperature? 79-91 /91 was a ventilation problem
What is the Day/Night Temp? (Include flucutaion range) 60/78% average room temp.
What is the current Air Flow? (cfm etc.) 325cfm being blown into the crawl space passive intake
Is the fan blowing directly at plants? 2 of em
Is your water HARD or SOFT? I think its hard......
What water are you using? Reverse Osmosis (RO)? Tap? Bottled? Well water? Distilled? Mineral Water? City tap water that sits @ least 2 days before being mixed with food and used
Has plant been recently pruned, cloned off of or pinched 4 weeks ago.
Have any pest chemicals been used? If so, What and When? I used some sm90 on thn when they were little
Are plant's infected with pest's Nope.

To start with I use 1.5 gallon pots full of little rockwool cubes hand watered 1-3 times per lights on schedule depending on how much they use.
Ok my plants are 14 days into flower and I am getting a spotting problem I usaully get @ week 5 or 6 so its not usauly a problem. it starts @ the bottom/middle then progresse troughout the whole plant killing all my fan leaves.
I thought i was mag/cal isues so I started using epsom salts, I am keeping my ph in between 5.5/5.8 it does not shift much in the runoff mabey .1/.3 so that should not be an issue.

Thx Yah.... I need to break down and buy some cal/mag, but I am waiting for my Air cooled reflector glass to show up before I drive all the way to the store.
the 1st pic down was from the bottom not getting much light
the 3rd pic down was closer to the canopy.
I had to "pull" all the leaves off they were not dead and falling off, Dying yes but not dead.
I think the leaf curl was from when it got and stayed way to hot for a day or 3,
Ne1 else wanna weigh in?

Looks like possible heat stress, what wattage of light are you using and how close is it?
WHat is the grow room temps? What is your RH?

Def some leftover heat stress from when the room got way too hot a a week before they were put into flower.
The temp right above the canopy is 84f my RH is 25%
1000w light 18-24in above the canopy.
Getting some cal/mag today to see if it fixes my spotting problems

ok it took forever and these pix are 1 week old so there are more spots and dying fan leaves.









We have been giving them lite food after a good water/calmag flush, but the problem is still there.

Which one? you were flushing them out? what were you doing? please clarify.

How often were you using the cal mag and the amount? Have you tested your pH run off lately?

When I do the flush I give them 1tsp of calmag for 5 gallons of water and thats it mabye some ph -
I give them 1Tsp of calmag per 5 gallons h20 They get the GH 3 part 3tsp grow 6tsp micro 3Tsp bloom for every other watering.
My runoff ph is 5.5

Well if you are flushing with cal mag, you are wasting it, you are supposed to flush with plain water and when you water normally when your plants get dry is when you are supposed to use cal mag.


Your plantsd are showing a calcium problem, which would show why it's not working when you fed them

How often are you feeding them? how often are you watering I mean?

If you were using the GH3 part, you should not be having to use cal mag.....

Why are you using so much micros?

I dont understand this...... the first part I get but the 2nd is a ????
The directions on the bottle for "late bloom stage" is 1tspg grow 2tspg micro and 3tspg bloom.
My micro usage is right on par with the directions.....
I have allways been told/assumed/read unless it is a "gonna cut em down flush" That a small bit of plant food helps the salt in the medium wash out and keeps the plants from being completley without food @ the root zone.
I will stop wasting my calmag on the "flush"
They get watered 1 time a day 1/2 to 1hr after lights on, during peak growth they were getting another watering 6hrs in to the day cycle.
I am thinking mabey bring the ph up a little to 5.7.5.8

Are the rockwool cubes sitting in a flood drain table?
You have pictures of your plants in the rockwool cubes?

If you do not water everyday do the cubes dry up?
The 2nd part I mean is, the reason why the cal mag was not working to solve the calcium problem was due to the fact you were flushing the cubes so much.

If you are watering everyday and they are sitting in rockwool cubes you would have to feed nearly everyday or every other day in small dosages.

1 tsp to 5 gallon seems low. I know for soil cal-mag states 5ml for 1 gallon.

But the problem you have is cal-mag deficiency. It usually starts at bottom and works way up. So you may still see the problem in lower leaves if you continue to use cal-mag.

I use cal-mag every watering now because i had similar problem when i started. Lower portions still have signs of cal deficiency but the rest is great.

they are the small rockwool cubes you use to fill up pots with. It is not a flood table I water the pots by hand the pots sit in 2 slanted troughs that empty to waste.
Yes the plants get watered every day and the pots get quite dry.
