looks like P or K lock out/ or problem. which I'm pretty sure can come from your tap (depending on the ppm in the water). I have heard that it could also be a sign of mold/fungus? I've seen it show up in plant's lower leafs who have a PM. Almost like a foreshadow to the white spores. But from the little bit known about the details I would say an N-P-K problem (probably P or K). Invest in a RO machine if you can (great way to get great tasting water to drink also!)

but between down time check out this thread and get down.

Stop spraying nutrients on your leaves. They are young seedlings they don't need much at alll. Over lovin your plants is a big mistake. Get your waters ph in check. The round leaves on the seedling are called the cotelydon leaves (spelling), when they start yellowing up you should introduce very low nutrients and not via foilar spray. Slowly build your nutrients up. Don't love them to death, relax and let her tell you what she wants and when she wants it, it is after all just a weed.

Easy Bro,
You hit the nail on the head. The foliar spraying was the problem. (along with the ph) They are much better now.
And Thanks for input lads

tsc- Good to see you got your problem solved. I was wondering about your set up. Is that a jiffy pot / rockwool combination? What made you do it this way, and how is it working out?thanks

Hi Jelly
They are in jiffy's in 4" Grodan. Basically I just keep them in the prog for a week or so, Watering by hand daily. Then I put them in the main room, which is a hydro set up, I put them in 5ltr grow bags filled up with clay pebbles. I have a kiddies swimming pool which has a 1500lph pump, and a 80ltr bin with a 1500lph pump. The timers are set to come on twice a day, as soon as the bin is emptied the other pump switches on emptying the pool. Simple but effective. Oh and a 600hps Diamond Shade

Thanks. When you transfer them to hydro, do you remove all the jiffy pot soil? Probably a newb question, but I'm visualizing a res tank full of mud. Make sense?

Lol Ha, no I leave the jiffy's in! How the fuck could I take them out anyway? I put a layer of clay pebbles on them plus the flood doesn't quiet reach the top of the jiffys so no soil gets into res. The clay gets into res, but I have got an online filter ( http://www.amazon-irrigation.com/acatalog/In-line_Filter.html ) which is very simple to install. So no I dont get any mud!
Anyway some **** wrote off my car last night. A bus driver. He just smashed into the side of me. So now I got lots of fun with the insurance back peddlers.:dueling:
