High, been a while since i did a grow but im back. New start new thread.

I need to clean down my rooms, ive got unfinished business with haze, but alongside those im gonna see about acquisition of some cuts of a known producer to balance out the efficiency somewhat.

I have TomHill haze and Ace purple and green varietys, i know what to expect and value the journey as much as the destination. Some would call me crazy for wasting lumens but sometimes, you have to go past the point of no return to see how far you can go.

So I fitted a pair of Hotbox heating mats to my rooms and now they are toasty warm with the lights off, no lockouts and slow growth this year. i have turned corner in the project and realigned my goals, to start i have put down 40 Congo3 x deepchunk x panama x colombian(R.Williams DeepCongo x Kaiki's Punta Rosa.)

This is a step towards brown weed already, it has Afghan Kush blood and 75% Sativa heritage, 25% of which i know is a woody/incense type and for sure there is some combination resonance waiting to happen. Maybe i will make F2 or find some mums to work with by reversal.

Also in the line up yet to hit dirt are: Cheese x Vietnam x china, Bubba x hindukush and bubba x chinese(Or Vietnam x china i cant remember, all from Ace Seeds...these will be for research into high yielding hybrids, possibly some medicinal benefits from the Myrecene etc included, also maybe CBD?.)

Some new blood on the scene, in the form of Nepal(Mileche, Annapurna) x AceSeed Congo Banghi x Congo3 x pakistan x Deep chunk. The mother had a nice mix of chracter, some flvour from the paki, creamy fruity fun weed..maybe still about in the hands of the dread fairy. Without the help of VerdantGreen i couldnt have made this cross. See how they do for Betty.

We have been breeding with 3 different congolese sativa the past years at ACE Seeds.
We combined 2 congoleses ( Bangi congo and Congo# 3) in our Congo hybrid and a third one which was used for Bangi Haze (congolese x nepalese hybrid).

Then a nice flowery cream narrow leaf hash plant from the above selection (Nepal x congo x congo/paki) was crossed to a broad leaf hash plant from TomHill deepchunk..

If they germ, then im expecting a few little hashplants with real nice build and resin that is fruity or flowery..

I like what you have going on!

We kinda have some similar things going on in the Deep Congo Crosses. I've run Dcong F3 x(Green Haze x Panama-ACE). I loved the GHP, HUGE yield of dense nugs on one of the plants, and I ran a crop of Indicas underneath them before they took over. So I still pulled two crops from my room in the 16 weeks it took to flower the GHP.
Crossing the Dcong and GHP gave me mostly tamed Haze type plants. Shorter stature, quicker flower times and the Dcong turpines blend perfectly with the Haze. A production Haze type cross. Next time I run them I plan to self my favorites and explore from there.

I'm also vegging some Deep Congo F3 x Bangi Haze at the moment.

So I was feeling nostalgic today after visiting the growshop, talking strains old and new made me miss my old mums I had before my break from growing. So in memoriam of old im gonna pop some bagseed from my last two crops

I feel that way at times, haven't kept a mother plant in almost 7 years. Popping some Love Potion#1 crosses has been on my mind for a while. I loved the LP#1!

But, there is always something in the line up that I want to run more.

I found some Punta Rosa F2 and Congo p.n x OThaze x punta rosa, so gonna go ahead with them..id like to establish some mothers this round and flower a clutch at a time in different sized pots, with a different veg time depenending on whether its a kush type or leggy sue. The NCCP x DeepChunk look to be duds. sadly.

Just juiced some superskunk clippings mixed with grape juice freshly squeezed..mmmm, tastes like vegetables..........

Also I gave some cannabutter to my babys Granmama from a whole plant extraction of: x18, cherrybomb, deep congo, f13 and whatever else was in the room, to rub on a large wart/mole whatever to see what happens. Ive been making moles on my arm dissappear after a couple of applications, so figured it would dissappear hers too. I havent told her that it works for ache in joints yet, or whats in it (she is not against herb having grew up in the 60's but not a toker, so to avoid questions etc I told her it was a herbal remedy, no lie)...
