Brown and Yellow Spots covering fan leaves. day27flower, what's wrong?

I've got two Big Bud females in my flower chamber (2 from 13 total plants, lame!) the better one of the two is getting hit hard with what looks like low ph or nitrogen or calcium lock-out caused by the ph, but the leaves (especially older ones) are covered in yellow and brown spots that start at the tip and work their way back. The problem didn't explode until I ran tiger bloom and beastie bloom through the soil without treating the ph of the water before hand. Tiger bloom being very low in PH has dropped my soil ph to nothing. I've ran gallon after gallon of water with ph up in it and the shit is still coming out redish orange on my liquid ph meter (which is around 5). I don't know if this continous flushing is bad for the plant, but so far it has gotten worse in a matter of days, nearly every leaf has spots on it. PLEASE HELP ME! I DON'T WANT TO LOSE THE BEST OF MY TWO PLANTS! THANK YOU!!!

How long has this problem been going on? about 3 days
What STRAIN are you growing? Nirvana Big Bud
What was the establishing technique? (seed or clone?) seed
What is the age of your plants? planted on dec 23 (2months ago) been flowering for 27 days
How long have they been in the soil mixture they are in now? since they sprouted
How Tall are the plants? about 3 ft from soil to top
What PHASE (seedling, vegetative or flower) are the plants in? flower
What Technique are you using? (SOG, SCROG etc) natural growth
What size pots are you using? (Include how many subjects to pot) 9in diameter, 9in height
What substrate/medium are you using? What brand of soil mixture are you using?(percentage of perlite, vermiculite...etc?) Miracle Grow Moisture Control :)noway::wallbash:) with prolly 10-20% added perlite.
What Nutrient's are you using? Tiger Bloom and Beastie Bloom
How much of each nutrient are you using with how much water? *Knowing the brand is very helpful* 2 teaspoons tiger bloom, 1/2 teaspoon beastie
How often are you feeding? I was using open sesame every other watering first few weeks of flowering, then I hit it with the tb and bb once.
If flowering, when did you switch over to using Bloom nutrients? When I switched to 12/12 I watered once with clean water, waited until it was dry, then began bloom nutes.
What order are you mixing your nutrients? (example: veg nutes 1st, bloom 2nd ect)
What is the TDS/EC/PPM of your nutrients used? I do not know
What is the pH of the "RUN-OFF"? around 5
What method of pH test was administered? Using Strips? pH pen? strips and liquid tester.
How often are you watering? I flushed three gallons with ph up through it two days ago, and two gallons through it yesterday.
When was your last feeding and how often are you feeding? Last fed three days ago.
What size bulb are you using? 400w hps
What is the distance to the canopy? half a foot
What is your RH Factor? (Relative Humidity) n/a
What is the canopy temperature? between 70 and 80
What is the Day/Night Temp? (Include fluctuation range) same as above
What is the current Air Flow? (cfm etc.) n/a
Tell us about your ventilation, intake exhaust and when its running and not running ? At night they are in my box with the door closed and many ventilation holes. When they wake up i open the door and hit them with a box fan on low setting.
Is the fan blowing directly at plants? about half the time
Is the grow substrate constantly wet or moist? Has been lately but I usually give soil time to dry
Is your water HARD or SOFT? soft
What water are you using? Reverse Osmosis (RO)? Tap? Bottled? Well water? Distilled? Mineral Water? tap
Are you using water from a water softener? no
Has plant been recently pruned, cloned or pinched? Pruned it about a week and a half ago.
Have any pest chemicals been used? If so what and when? no
Are plant's infected with pest's? no

word, my girl lost my camera tho. Just imagine yellow spots as big as the tip of a pen covering the leaves. believe me if I could get pictures up on here then I wouldn't have posted without them, I know it makes yalls job harder but what can I do, just watch my plant die?

hey graffiti, I hear ya on nirvana's female/male ratio...

I think what you're describing is Ca lock-out....a transplant would be ideal, but since you're @ day 27, idk...

i'm pretty sure it's the miracle grow combined with the TB....a flush will probably release more of the MG nutes...

I don't have any experience with the miracle grow...my first instict would be to transplant...but then you risk shocking the plant = stress...

maybe a shot of CalMag?

do you know the NPK rating on the MG?

I've got no clue what the npk is primo. All I know is that I checked the ph of the soil before the tb went in, then I checked it when it went through and it was low as hell. Now I run gallon after gallon of 8 or higher ph water through it and it doesn't change a bit. I'm pretty damn sure that whatever the nutrient(s) is/are, they're only causing the problem because of the ph.
Damn I wish i had a camera, maybe i'd get some more replies.:wallbash: but thanks anyways primo, I was concerned about the flushing releasing more nutes, but I don't really know what to do right now. I've been so focused on constructing and concealing my op that i've been paying less attention to what I'm actually growing!!!

IMHO you need to transplant ASAP into some pots that are big enough to hold a good amount of new soil. You need to get some soil that has NO nutrient already in it,those two nutes you are using (Tiger and the Beastie) are HEAVY DUTY fertilizers and should be used sparingly if at all(if you like the Fox Farm stuff you should use their Big Bloom nute,it is much more forgiving than the other two). While transplanting during flowering is not usually recommended,i think you will have nothing but problems if you keep them in that MG soil. Try and be gentle, keep the rootball as intact as possible and if you can,try and get ahold of some Superthrive or any other B1 supplement, use only a very small amount as the stuff is VERY concentrated. This will help the plant recover quickly from any transplant shock and give the roots some nice energy to grow into that new healthy soil.

Good Luck

damnit, I could slap myself in the lips for using that damn mg bullshit. I just don't understand how the fuck im running gallon after gallon after gallon of high ph water through this soil and it STILL COMES OUT LOW??? What the fuck is that? I've never fucked around with changing the ph of the soil and to be honest this is my first grow that I've ever really even checked the ph. Is there something Im doing wrong? Should I not be flushing with ph up in order to... uh... bring the PH UP?

I'm prolly gonna be transplanting soon anyways, but I'm gonna have to wait a whole nother day to get off work and go to the grow shop. Unless they sell a good soil at walmart? I was going to use that ff frog something or rather.

Only thing i can think of is every time you dump water on that soil more of the time released ferts are released which could be affecting the PH of the runoff water,i would just let them dry out until you transplant and whatever you do don't add any more nutes. I can't stress enough that you should get rid of that Beastie Bloomz and Tiger Bloom, they will cause you nothing but problems in the long run,try the Big Bloom or any of the other quality organic(or mostly organic) nutrients available at your hydro store. Also you can save yourself some money by skipping the expensive Fox Farm soils and just getting some Pro Mix BX,you will have to add some Perlite to make it drain better and create some nice air pockets for the roots. If you have the money for it buy a bag of high quality Worm Castings to mix in as well,NOTHING is better for creating a healthy soil than having some castings mixed in.

yeah I agree about the ff nutes, im having more trouble with em then they're worth. I bought the whole line of bud enhancers a while ago, taking poor advice from one of them "know it all" growers. Goes to show you, look it up before you throw 70 some dollars into it, i've just been trying to make it work.
As far as the time release nutes go, that is definitely one of my concerns, but shit, shouldn't like 8 9 10 gallons of water wash out the nutes that are released? Or is that not how it works.
I'm leaning more and more towards getting promix and lucas formula and not complicating this shit any further for my next run.

im starting to think about taking any cuts I can and trying to get them to root before the mama dies. I'm so damn sad right now, this plant was boomin, growing huge fans and popping up buds on every branch, now its going and going fast. Ive run 10 gallons through it now, ph is still low.

WHY THE FUCK WONT THE PH GO BACK UP DAMNIT!

ah fuck it, no one seems to be replying (sorry im impatiently pacing back and forth) so I'm gonna make some cuts right away and see if I can't salvage something from this sinking ship, I can literally watch the dots slowly engulfing my plant. Note for future reference, check the fuck out of my ph when fucking with nutes i dont understand. Peace, ill let you know if I regret this decision later, but I'm still gonna try to keep the momma alive after the cuts, even though she's got a pretty slim chance. I definitely over reacted with the flushing as well...

I have the same issue right now,

I am temporarily in mg organic myself

My roots are around the 16 oz cups they are in and I think it is more rootbound than nute issues or at least that is how it looks for me.

MG sucks no matter what type you run, get out of it BUT if anything at least transplant into a larger pot for the meantime and stop flooding it with more water, it needs to dry up before it can recover and you have to let it have time to do that. Can't happen overnight and odds are will take a week or two to show real progress again and hopefully by then you have better soil just as I hope I soon will.

Taking cuts are a great idea but that is if the soil will work for them, if it isn't working well for your rooted plants who knows what could happen to a cut. Keep the mom alive until you know you have rooted a few cuts or better yet, get better soil FOR your cuts and then there shouldn't be any issue for them at least.

I just cut all my clones, trying a new method, rapid rooters, we'll see how it works. I'm definitely going to the grow shop tomoro and getting some low nute soil, give my girl a day or two to dry up and throw her in a bigger pot (maybe both of them). Thanks for your concern Med. I'm just hoping at least one of the clones root as I am not very experienced with cloning. My grow history is one of teenage carelessness, lots of bagseeds, indoor and out, and some really amazing luck... seems my lucks run out lol. I've been trying to up my game and in the process I'm seeing how little I truly know lol. we'll see what happens from here!

its burning up your girls.

just ditch the miracle grow...good luck man

one way to do it,is use a food that will make ur ph go up wen combined with ur water less then a pinch, just enough to make the solution of feed,ph to go up...if havent overfert....peace

many moons ago,i wud water with a low ph water 2 times in a row, then on third water a feed with a ph of 7.4...it will work...but not suposelying well as a stable ph...thefeed was desert guano 7-4-1..a peat pellet in soil mix,1/2 worm castings,1/2 perlite,4inch pot,2 inches of perlite on bottom,an 1./4 or spoon of bat guano..mm/
