Hi All, outdoor seasons coming to an end down this part of the world so figured I get going on my indoor setup and share it with y'all. It's only for personal smoke so isn't a huge setup.



The setup is a bit bare at the moment, but you always have to start somewhere. The plan is to run a small seedling/clone cabinet (old PC cases) with 2 bonsai mum's in it. Do most of the vegging in the little PC cabinet then move them to my little 40cm x 40cm tent for flowering. I also want to eventually add another 60cm x 60cm tent for even quicker turn around, but I won't get too ahead of myself yet.



Currently have a clone re-vegging in the 40 x 40 tent as I really liked this plant, though have no idea of the genetics, once she's ready I'll take a few cuts off her and use one for a bonsai mum. Also have a seedling of Phantom Cookies Domina (Phantom Cookies x Black Domina) starting off in the PC clone/seedling cabinet. Got a few fem'd seeds off of a mate, who I think bought them from Garden of Green seed bank. Not a bank I've heard or seen much about, but if the genetics are even close to their labeling I feel it's gonna be a nice lady to keep around.


Setup:


Flowering Tent: 40 x 40 x 120 cm


Lighting: 1x Cree CXB3590 LED COB @ 60w (will eventually upgrade to 2 cobs being driven at 150w, once my new driver arrives)


Extraction and odor control: 150mm fan on a speed controller, turned almost as far down as possible, blowing through a carbon filter.


Clone/Seedling cabinet: 20cm x 40cm PC case, lined with reflective mylar, lit with a 55w PLL fluorescent bulb, sitting on top of a similar sized heat pad @ 27 Celsius.


Genetics: 1x Phantom Cookies Domina (Phantom Cookies x Black Domina) from Garden of Green seed co. (Female Seedling)



1x Unknown Strain (currently Re-vegging), Indica leaning, smells of fruity cereal, very resinous and tight bud structure.


Medium: Canna Coco, Canna Coco nutes, Blu-mats for irrigation.

Update

Things are progressing well. The Phantom Cookies Domina seedling (now known simply as PCD) is growing at a decent rate. Moved her into a 1L container yesterday and she's seemed to like it. The re-vegging plant is doing amazing well, starting to throw up 3 and 5 fingered leaves. I'm feeding both from the same res, still using Canna Coco, Rhizotonic, CMX (cal, mag, and micro nutes), and a little drip clean. PH sits at 5.9, temps in the seedling/clone cab sit around 27-28c during the day, proper tent sits at a temp of roughly 22c during the day and a RH of 55-58.

Corona Update

Corona Update

Whole country is on lock down so been pretty productive with my little setup. Added a 90cm x 90cm tent to house the 6 cobs sitting in my garage, the 60 I was looking at was just too small. This will be the dedicated flowering tent. Given it's size I'm thinking I'll start a scrog in the 40cm tent, then move them to the 90 for flowering so I'll have 4x scrogged plants in the 90, ideally pulling one each month.



Re-potted and trimmed the roots of the re-veg plant and she's just taken off. Sitting in a 10l pot of organic soil, being fed mostly water and a top up of nutes once a week or so. Should be ready for cloning in a week or so then I'll flip her into flower.


Topped and taken 6 clones off the PCD, she's looking a little bare but well setup to move into the 40 x 40 tent to be scrogged. She's sitting in a 1l coco pot for the meantime, being fed at 1.5ec canna a and b, cmx (cal mag plus micros), with a small amount of drip clean so she'll be ready once she's in a big enough pot for the blumat.

Update

Was a busy day yesterday. Re-worked my old 320w cree CXB3590 rig to fit into the 90cm x 90cm tent. Cut the frame down to 60cm x 60cm, still all 6 cobs running at 320w. Moved the re-vegging plant into the bigger tent, so guess its not much of a mini grow anymore. She seems a little stressed by the move, maybe the light intensity after the recent re-potting is a bit too much, hopefully she bounces back in the next couple days. Took 4 clones off her and started them in the PC, I hopefully will have about 10 little babies in the next week or so. The 40x40 is chugging along well at the moment. Added the scrog screen into it, she's 11 x 10 squares hopefully I can at least fill 100 of them and see what happens. The PCD is responding well to the move to the 40cm tent, growth has improved in even just the last day.

Yeah I gave her a good watering yesterday, but she's still looking a little droopy. I think I may have trimmed the roots back a bit much. Still got new growth coming up though so I think she'll be right in a few more days. Also, the move from a 60w cob to 320w might have been a bit much too.

Things still coming along nicely. The re-veg plant is a lot happier now. Re-potted the PCD into a 3.3l pot and will probably move her into the larger tent and tie her down instead of run the scrog in the small low wattage tent.

Yay, so the first 6 clones all rooted super well, checked last night and roots were exploding out of the jiffys. Placed them in their first pots and fed them a bit, hopefully the next 4 are not long off showing roots.
