My wife is my only partner and we tell each other everything, but if the homeboy didn't want the location disclosed i wouldn't bring her. Although i trust my wife completely and she is super supportive , i try to keep a safe distance between her and things that could get her arrested..

You have nobody to blame but yourself on this one. If you have a lot to lose then tear out that grow. Far as your friend, you have trusted each other for a long time in grows with no problems. If you are good friends then don't just toss a good friendship out.
One of those " do not let it happen again" things....
When you grow outdoors or indoors, getting caught is part of the risk involved.
And having an outdoor grow close enough to your house yhat people can just carry a few jugs of water out seems pretty damn stupid to be honest. If the plants got found ( not due to friend's girlfriend) how hard would it be to trace back to the trail coming from your place ????

i've been married nearly 40yrs and my wife toils alongside me and i have absolute trust in her . that in itself is a bloody rarity ..neither of us say a word to anyone .....

I'm thinking you should be able to harvest soon.. If you can stand it that long.As for a partner.. He is out. I once had a live in gf that was a drunken cop caller. Once told everyone and the police i beat her up. Never touched her.The only person you can trust with this is yourself. Keep us updated..

The biggest issue you face is if you tell buddy to beat it and he get attitude he has all the power to fuck you over .(theft & or LEO)

I would be very concerned about the grow friend's girlfriend. Enough to move.
Next guy she sleeps with could be a cop, or similar.
Growing is still a Covert Operation.
Yeah I can relate. I had a job that required travel and at times my wife would go with me, so this presented a problem of getting someone to help with the crop while we were away. I enlisted a friend of over 20 years to do so. I trusted him completely, but he could not keep this secret from his wife. Next thing I knew, I had people that I barely knew asking about my plants. Turns out his wife told everyone who would listen about my farming hobby, fucking stupid bitch. Tore the grow down and told the friend that I was quitting growing and smoking, have not talked to him since, horrible loss of a friend because of his mouthy wife. Learned my lesson, never again will I trust anyone other than my wife of over 25 years.

Well your "friend" needs to give hes head a wobble, id suggest trying to automate your grow and maybe hitting your friend really hard in the jaw with a 4lb club hammer!!!, as far as i know this will shut your friend up for a hell of a long time
