Bronzed Leaves

Just transplanted these gal about 4 days ago, vegged in 4x4 rockwool blocks until about 8" tall, then placed in 5" square pots with hydro-rocks. Using H&G Aqua Flakes at about 1500ppm with 150ml of CalMag per 40 gallon reservoir. Flooded them up to the rockwool all was well until I noticed this on a few plants, not widespread but def. happening. Ideas? Rockwool is still a bit wet, but that wont' be a problem as I will not really soak the wool again with my floods. The plants are 64 per 4x4 table under a 1kw with CO2 and perfect climate from a mini split.

Cheers

No one? I went ahead and dumped the tank and added new nutrients at 500ppm and ph of 5.8. We shall see...

Just curious: is it the norm to not get any answers around here? (I just joined.) I looked at the sticky 'show us your problems' guide and there were like 500 questions and no clear answers...

Oddly, I don't recall how this worked out but have a buddy dealing with the same issues - 5 years later anyone know ;)

You can always try organic amended soil pots or beds feeding with water. Even without feeding strictly organic using containers of fox farm or amended compost might buffer certain nutrient issues over a wider range. With small inert media cubes the plants are liquid feed dependent. Seasoned growers might develop a knack for spotting plant problems. In this case my guess is as good as yours reducing to 500ppm and pH of 5.8 sounds like a good plan.
