Broke a main branch, still attached (veg)

Should look like a letter Y looks like a letter L. So i duct taped it back.
Think a dab of rooting powder in the crotch would have helped ? or honey , ect..

It should be fine, they can heal very well.

Done this plenty of times, just tape Em up and hope for the best. Usually they repair themselves fine...sometimes not. Never tried rooting hormone. Good luck!

It's like grafting. You're not rooting it, you're trying to match up the "veins" so they'll grow back together. Good luck. -granger

I've had branches 3/4 snapped and folded over recover, so your chances aren't horrible.

I taped a branch that split pretty bad right at flip. Electrical tape solved that and you can't even tell now

When my plants get too tall in veg, I SMASH them all down, like REALLY violently. Disregard for EVERYTHING holy.

They LOVE it.

Doesn't look look like death though.

Couple of inches of a drinking straw split down the middle can work real well as a splint. Larger tubing and hoses work on bigger plants.
