Brick weed - extraction?

Hi guys

I'm curious how easy it would be to make schwag/brick/dirt weed into something good.

If getting it isn't a problem, what could I do with it?

Maybe a little bit of cooking/cannabutter, but not a lot.
I was thinking hash, so I was going to post this there, but I figured that there might be other ways.

Nothing where I have to send away for hundreds of bucks worth of tools or anything.


Ideas?

I'd dry sift then bho or qw iso the sift scraps .
Or just ice hash it all.

Walking my dog a few months ago I found a good 1/2 oz of some (gross) mids on the ground. I made some iso hash from this sack and ended up with a nice lil chunk of hash. Best option IMO.

In the last couple of years, me and a bro successfuly processed a few k's of good but extremely dry brick weed into prime time BHO. Some turned out golden-yellow, but most was a redish amber color. Yield was an average of 15-20% of the total weight. Just buy a few boxes of butane cans and get to work. We made ours using an empty 1L bottle of smirnoff, with a little hole drilled on the center of the bottom part (thick glass), filling the botthe with ground-up brick weed and capping it of with a few of layers paper coffee filter, tied around the neck of the bottle using a hose clamp. You get the pitcure...

I understand the process of using ISO etc, but there are a few others that are confusing to me.

Dry sifting - Pretty obvious what it is, but what size screen/filter do you use? I'm guessing something like a bug screen in a home, but finer?

BHO - Butane Honey Oil (?). Help?

I gotta say though, I think I'll pass on BHO, at least for right now. Need to know more about what I'm doing first

For dry sift - what size/type of screen is used, and after it's made, how do you smoke it?
Never done anything like this before

I love taking a qp and making it all into about 1lb of butter. It comes out a little weak if you're just making box brownies, but if you're making real cookies with a stick plus, a single one will keep you stoned for a good 6hrs.

i wouldn't recommend dry sifting or ice hash unless it's some really great shwag, most shwag doesn't have many trichomes. bho would definitely give you the best results

Yeah, but it's cheap. And if I get something smokable out of it, I'll be happy.
It's just an experiment at first - probably only use like 1/2 or maybe an oz.

If it works and I get something good, hey, maybe I'll go for a pound...... haha. Ok maybe not at first
