Breeding, your opinions!

OK guys my plan is to do a major seed run,basicly run loads of different autos in a cab, save the best looking females and leave them to be pollinated by the best males of 1strain.

these are the strains im looking at to run:

Russian rocket fuel (amazing smell)

Mi5 (amazing strain & yield)

Onyx (amazing strain & yield)

Purple Mazar (for colour)

Ak47 (A must have, the auto of auto's)

sour 60 (amazing strain & yield)

Maybe swap one of these to Cheesey's amazing NYLD auto?

I'm open to other trains but this is likely to be what im going for, basicly cause I've already seen how these strains perform and im very pleased, I also see these as a safe choice for a good breed.

Now Im planning on saving the best males of ONE of these strains, The rest will be females.. So I'll be crossing these males to the rest of the diff strain females. I have some thoughts of what would be intresting to cross but I want to check with you first, what you are opinions are, maybe something totally different than I had in mind. please share!

why is purple mazar unstable? first I heard of that?? I know of lots of PM grows including my own that went very well, I never seen a bad report about it (apart from the yeild)

I recomend you add Jet 47 to your list, it has the looks, yeild & potency. I only had 1 plant make it out of 12 but she was worth it!!

Haven't heard about this either, i saw some grows of them including dargo's and thats what i drew my conclutions from

I saw jet 47 in one of your grows and i have to see i was totally blown away it had perfect look indeed, I'll check if i can find any more grows of it..

if you get a male bush pheno with the RRF, Mi5 or Onyx use one of them for sure.

The "Purple" Purple Mazar looks, smells & tastes amazing, only problem was yeilding 3-5g per plant. I used a purple mazar male to pollenate that Jet 47 you mentioned and also a nirvana sky, both are big yeilders so hopefully il get some color and yeilds in the offspring

...yeah im aiming for the best i can get. Toobad purple mazar yields so bad it actually looked fairly big in your grow, I just watched the jet 47 and that one is a beauty, i hope the one you got is the most common pheno and not a rare one !

The mazar cross is gonna be awesome, hope you get lucky with the colour traits!!

My plan was to buy 6feminized strains and buy only regular of the chosen male strain for obvious reasons , BUT after checking thru your thread i saw you had problems with all the feminized seed I'll better change my thoughts about buying fems! Later off the offsprings are gonna be grown outdoors in nordic climate they would go hermie for sure.. looked like you were doing everything right

btw what pot size were you using, they looked huge, 20L?

I´ve used my fastest/healthiest PurpleMazzar to polinate my Number1 and Annapurna ladys.
Fast/healthy male with good colours crossed with slower but heavy yielders females sounded good enough for me to save the seeds.
I´ve only grown the PM from your list so i can´t make any comments on that

I used a bad betty male on the nirvana sky aswell super bad betty

I think the purple mazars was in 6L pots, the jet 47 was in a 7.5L

I would grow males from all strains and choose from there.
Or if that aint possible then choose the most stable strain of the big yelders you have.
IMHO all auto/dwarf/LR strains ar so unstable that it doesn't make much difference if you mix pollen of all different strains together!!! :O

Auot Lemon Skunk x NYLD = personal project
OMS x NYLD = seeds for the bay
Mazar I sheriff x NYLD = seeds for the bay

I wish someone would do a cross with the FAT Chronic pheno x a heavy auto
that would also be sick!!
