Breeding Question

I was just curious. I am currently doing a mainline grow (4 plants but all different strains). Instead of throwing my tops away, I have been rooting them and toying with the idea of making some feminized seeds. So my question is, Can I use the female pollen from one plant to pollinate a clone of the same plant? Maybe its a dumb question but all the info I have found online describes instructions for forcing the female to produce pollen and then pollinating a different plant. Has anyone done this before?

What you describing is called self-pollination, or 'selfing', a technique that's fairly common.
Whenever you see the suffix 'S1' behind a strain name, that strain is the result of self-pollination.

Thank you! I've heard both terms many times. It just clicked. I am fairly new to this and "selfing" just seems unnatural. I guess I should just be more tolerant! LOL! I have the colloidal spray on the way and some awesome strains in my cloner. Thanks again Mohadib. I will proceed with confidence...
