Breeding Chamber prototype

Hey all had some time on my hand and figured being i am going to get into breeding as a hobble, what a better way is to make actual breeding chambers
So beng i started on my first prototype if it pans out???? then i can make more and so on.
But most importantly Not have cross contamination and the best part its easy to clean, remove lights sterilize and power wash drum and get going again once your done plans are to have 5 of them going at once
So please everyone's input is welcome

Thanks Doc

50 gallon drum
200 watts of Sunblaster T5 Ho's
looped circulation 3" with diy carbon scubber
PC fans
filters on both ends

This is how it would play out 2 male clones off father plant 4 - 5 off female plant chosen to breed ,, placed inside barrel and sealed

blumats and or some feed lines to plants is all i am looking at now to complete this here are some pics of what i got done so far
light installations has started

Why a drum instead of maybe a tote or something?

Do you have a flat surface inside?
Cause its what i have and when looking for totes there becomes a problem with placing 4 foot T5's if one chooses to go with 4 footers see you can put them in through the drain holes in the barrel etc
most most totes really are not sealed good enough lids are rather hard to get off etc so when trying to take a lid off possible pollen can escape where as here you can lift the lid look in with ease with out to much turbulence and for the flat part presently no but can easily correct by placing some 1/8 " flat board if there was a problem but with the size of mature clones one only need 6" pots which should sit nicely on the bottom with out any movement
like i said just really screwing around with the idea i already see issues possibly light leaks maybe need black barrels instead of blue ones as pictures shows :)

You may wanna be able to wash or hose that out at the end of each grow...so a drain would be nice to have..?

using water to neutralize any active pollen?

I thought of something else. What if you bump it,it might roll a little and knock all your plants over,or do you have it so it won't?

that is what i thought power wash barrel once its all done remove lights wash lights etc take barrel outside and blast it the pics are only one light so imagine 200 watts of them hahaha you might see it from space lol
so thinking try black Barrel next or blankets

there will be a stand under neath it so it will not move think of a rack three 16 foot 2x4's assembled in a V shape barrels sit inside it nicely or cut another barrel in half or less then grove them to same circumference of actual barrel and you have a stand for it

there are lots of things i am considering here like some sort of grill placed 1- 2" from light source more or less a protective grill so that when i put a breeding project and seal it walks away more or less being self feeding i do not have to worry about plants growing into the light possibly burning up seeds etc being T5 1 - 2 " protective grill of some sort i do not have to worry about anything

Interesting idea. I don't believe recirculating the air even after filtering is a good idea. Perhaps a hookah type exhaust would allow fresh air exchange. Bubbling up thru water should stop pollen....if it can be done safely?

True IMO am just thinking of actually running like 2" pipe straight in and have it slotted in middle of pipe so fresh air can come in down low and up top hot air can leave using pc fan on exhaust end with diy carbon scrubber

Will the carbon filter stop all the pollen? U might need a hepa or something like that.

U can use panda plastic or reflectix to seal the light leak. If u could rig it up inside u would get the reflective properties from it too.

Actually the inside is white here is a cut out of same type of barrel and yes i do not know if carbon scrubber if a person was to use it would work or be no good like i said i know i can grow awesome weed my next phase of learning is i want to try breeding

with one light its bright as hell lol all i am thinking of possibly doing is get some Black plastic paint and maybe spray one of the sides to see if it would block out the light we can see from my previous post pictures
But i do not have any Black drums and most of the used Black are Class 8 and i do not want to purchase new ones this is really cheap and who knows great way to possibly do it ??? i mean for a person who is not only wanting to cross 1 strain but have 2 - 5 - 10 different crosses going all at once think of it as a seed mill lol
but here is a pic of what inside of barrel looks like its White you can clearly see it was made to layers blue then white

Or a person could say fuck it seal it up completely drill a hole thread in a c02 line and have some sort of way to vent off internal pressure if there is any ???
