breaks are always good

well i've decided a break is need from ganja smokin, i recently found out that its aloooooooot better when u take breaks instead of smokin daily and or numerous times per week so im going to take a break till august 1st. by then tomato's will almost be done. WISH ME LUCK!! :joint:

Good luck man... Ive been off of it for a year or so now. Got my head together for other priorities. It's nice to take a break once in a while, especially when you get to the point where you're getting high just because it feels weird when youre NOT high
 
thanks man and yeah actually a couple months ago i used to smoke EVERY day alot too went through about a dub sack every 2 days almost... if that... it felt weird being sober since then i've slowed down ALOT only smoked maybe 15 times in teh last 3 months. but i still feel like a break is needed
 
everything in moderation, nothing in excess.
unless you are a serious medical user of cannabis, I completely agree with breaks. Even though I don't have the will power to do so :sasmokin:

When you do take a break (2 weeks or so) , I suggest drinking lots of water, taking your multivitamins.. even exercise daily if you feel up to it.
When you return, you'll thank yourself. :wave:
 
thx for the advice smellthefunk..thats part of my plan of takin the break i want to get healthier focus on my health before focusing on gettin high. when i feel better in general my high most likely will be better also.

great thinking dude,

I look at cannabis as being a healthy part of life in moderation- if you are a healthy outgoing individual.

The typical stereotype of a "stoner" - laid back in the couch eating junk food, smoking on a spliff, eyes barely open enough to see whats happening

Why can't it be like a lot of people, medicating off a vaporizer then getting creative, being a very productive part of society ect..
 
I'm hoping some of you can offer some advice. I'm at a point where I could use a break. But I'll admit I'm heavily addicted. I know that taking a break is a good idea. But when I get up in the morning I will convince myself the having a toke is a better idea than taking a break. It's like one day ill be preparing myself mentally for a break from toking. Them the next morning it's back to sqaure one, thinking that taking the toke is a better idea than taking a break. I can't take the break because I know longer think it's a good idea. Then i spend all day smoking and by the end of the day I start thinking about taking a break again.

Have any of you experienced this?

i did back when i smoked every day like you i too was kinda heavily addicted, until i smoked some laced shit and freaked out and then i kinda convinced myself street weed isnt worth the chance, so i kinda grew outta weed a lil bit since then so im hoping some pure homegrown will do the trick. but as for some advice just keep yourself busy, exercise and whenever you want to smoke just tell yourself you dont need it.sounds alot easier then it really is but thats all i got for ya man. hope you can take that needed break!

Every day. It is just damn tough when you experience 0 negetive side effects. I found that if I smoke morning noon and night is where my problem lies. Smoking after work is really the way to go, if I want to be high.
 
I am not taking a break, but I just started taking a break from smoking so often like sgt.stedanko said. Unless you NEED it for medical purposes I think most people benefit more from modest use. I started to notice that I feel much more tired (with any strain) at the end of the night if I smoked before and during work. Now I'm only going to smoke about once a day, that's enough to do the job for me. And small amounts, for me personally.
