Breaking up CAP buckets to flush

I currently am running 4 strains (9 plants) on the cap bucket system.

One of them (the white) seems to be finishing a bit earlier (it is turning a bit yellow) then the rest, and it is listed as having a faster finishing time.

I want to finish the nutes schedule for the rest of them (one more week of feeding, and then 1-2 week flush), but i dont think the white will last that long.

Id like it to be done a week or two earlier than the others, but still want to flush it.

Would it be a good idea to remove the plants from the outer buckets, and just put the inner bucket into 5 gallon buckets of water for 15 mins the 3 times a day i currently have them feeding?

THen the other 3 strains (6 plants) could get the last week of nutes, and then switch to flushing them as well?

Or should I just leave them in there, and not flush them? ...or is there a better way?

Also...if i do pull them, do i need to put inner buckets with rock in their place to keep the levels of the buckets correct?

Thanks for any help or ideas you may have!

You really don't need to flush a plant that is yellowing out. I would just continue what your doing till you want to pull the yellows then let the rest finish.

If your running hydroton there really is no reason to flush provided you have not been overfeeding during the course of the grow.

hydroton doesnt retain salts as other mediums such as rockwool or coco.

Keep the ppm under 1400 @ .7 conversion and I've seen no ill effects to not flushing. Burns clean using GH nutrients.
