Hey all im a first time grower and my babys are not well :(

i have 3 white widow fems by dutch passion from seeds, growing under 400w hps in soil. Im using canna nutes and its in the 5th week of veg.

Now heres the problem...the lowest leafs keep on dieing :( i clipped them away as they died...plants grows and then the lowest leafs again start going yellow and then die off :(

Does anyone know what this is? i will try and get some pics later today, thanks all.

Pics would definately help, but as of right now, Cheese is on the nose---leaves die off naturally. What you need to worry about is the frequency & quantity of leaves dying off.
The more that yellow & drop, the more likely it is that one's low on nitrogen. Especially in the flowering period. However, it doesn't necessarily indicate a problem, that act itself is natural in flowering anyway.
But you do need to make sure the plant's getting enough N & other nutes, too many lost leaves too quickly can indicate a major problem.

this happened 2 me 2, i would assume the same as is said above. my main concern that the biggest, and the newest leaves remained healthy

The whole plant seems a little yellow, like there's a N deficiency. What kind of ferts are you giving them?

don't clip off leaves that go yellow, let them fall off, clipping them seems to encourage the yellowing to move on to the next leaf set quicker than would otherwise happen.7.6 is pretty damned high ph too, actually think canna is considered soiless so your ph is pretty far off if I am not mistaken.

They need more food to start with...are you using one of those cheap walmart probe PH sensors? If so, throw it away - they're junk (extremely inaccurate).

Try to answer the following - the more detailed the answers, the better the help you'll get...

Strain of Mj?
Age of plant in question?
What stage (Veg/Flower; how many days into)?
Container/Pot size?
Have they been transplanted, if so how long ago?
If soil, composition ratios (peat moss, perilite, vermiculite etc.) and NPK?
Water runoff Ph?
Nutrients added?
Ratios of nutrients (N% P% K%)?
Feeding schedule?
When were they last fed/watered?
How are you determining when to feed/water (weight, wilting, etc.)?
TDS/EC/PPM?
Tap/RO/Distilled water?
Ph before and after adding nutrients?
Is your Ph equipment properly calibrated?
Light intensity/Age of bulb/Wattage?
Distance to the canopy?
Temps at canopy?
Temps at root zone or reservoir?
Day/Night temps (Min.-Max.)?
Current air flow (CFM)?
Is there air blowing directly onto plant?
Using CO2?
Relative humidity?

PH and the PPM/EC are going to be the main factors right now, so try to elaborate on them as much as possible.
