Bottle Water Users

I used Distilled water for my last two grows before my current one. My last house was in a different city with a water suplly which gave me a ph of 8.5-9 which is why the reason for the bottled water. The distilled's ph is right around 7, I used the p[lain Ol' distilled that you find at a grocery store or walyy world. Hope this helps.

I am on my second grow and am using only bottled distilled water. It seems to be a much better choice than my first grow: half tap/half rainwater. I am paying a buck a gallon right now, but I am still looking.

i only use distilled water for cuttings and seedlings but after the plant is established i use filtered tap water bubbled for 24 hours with an air stone.

Be aware that tapwater ph shouldnt be considered a negative for your plants, its easily remedied with PH up or down. Its the PPMs of the water and the individual elements like calcium that should be of concern, when using low PPM bottled water make sure you use calmag even if dolomite is present in the soil,it'll still be needed. Most tap contains calcium and magnesium among other beneficial things for plants, its all in the amounts.Sometimes a half and half mix is just the right thing for the girls,I'll be getting my R/O next week finally I've been using a lot of dehumidifier water though, thats how I know about the calmag defeciencies that can occur.I'm seriously considering a half and half when my R/O unit arrives.Remember water ph souldnt be of real significance,it can be easily adjusted.

I have used whatever 2.5 gals are on sale at the store. Usually the 'spring' or 'drinking' water, but on occasion distilled.

Mix, check the pH, and you're fine.

You never used any calmag in your grows with low PPM water stretch?Could be strain specific but I sure experienced it,especially calcium defeciencies.I only use a tablespoon per gallon soil mix of dolomite though, just enough to get me through flower with that nice yellow-green runoff lol

Gotta have the LK,I wasnt sure about this new formula at first with the humic acids being so dratically cut,but i dont see a difference in the outcome really.Ever try PBP for veg?I was a hardcore grow big user until I tried PBP,its a better veg fert IMO an can be used every single watering once the cutting's rooted, still like grow big first 2-3 weeks of 12/12 though.

Ive been using reverse osmosis water for my current grow and see a huge diff in growth. Ph of this water is 7. Seems to be alot more clorine in my tap water right now. R/O water is all ill using anymore. You can pick up a filter kit at your local fish store. peace ll
