Bottle Rocket Flight

Hi Again everyone. I wanted to post pics of my Bottle Rockets currently in flight. They are sharing the early veg space with my GP's and will enjoy their own home for late veg and flower.

Quick Bullets:

* 10 Seeds Germ'd - 10 Seeds Popped (again, grin)

* 7 made it to the bubbler (This time 1 part observance and 2 parts keep the cat away)

The roots on these are well......*Froth, Froth, Drool, Slobber*





Finally all 7 went into soil on Dec 25 and under the 400W MH.

Thanks all for the quick replies / interest.

KQ X DTC99 is correct and what a makeup it is.

I've always been in awe of Rez's stuff. When i researched the lineage and the history of each of the strains that make up BR, I just flipped. Its surreal actually.

Hitman's thread on OG is the only thread on the BR I've been able to find and his looked simply wonderful.

I plan to do justice with these.

Greetings everyone.

Quick update on the Bottle Rocket fun.

All 7 have been in soil and under 400W MH for 72 hours now.

I'm afraid that I may have moved these from the bubbler to the soil without shaking off enough water from the cubes. They have yellowed some. Some more than others actually.

I've been very conservative with the feedings since they went to soil. Just enough distilled water to moisten the soil. I figure I might loose a few leafs, but the health of the tops looks great.

Here is a shot of the kids in their cups. A close-up of the most beautiful follows. Suggestions regarding this yellowing (my promise to not overwater) are certainly appreciated.

It is just too cool to have these killer Genetics of Rez.

Not to mention they are side by side with my GPs from BOG.

Greetings all.

Bottle Rocket Update.


1 week in the dirt and under the big light. Had some yellowing issues as shown above earlier in the week but all looking great now. Yellowing has stopped and although a few of the lower leaves will be lost, the new growth is fast and lush.

As tiny as these babies are, they are certainly stinkers early on.


Here is a group shot of the BRs. There are 5 sweet ones, 1 on its way back to "sweet" status and 1 that is a little mutie but a cutie mutie.





Here is a closeup of one of the lil stinkers.

U dont play do you m8. two top strains. Damn, u guys and ur cats though, lol, no way id av one, no offence to cat-lovers, but i just dont really like em. Kittens r ok, but its when they gow up, and have you ever seen how they mate???? Im telling you its like rape, the male sneaks up, jumps on the female and pins her down while he does his thing, and to make it worse, a cats penis has barbs along the side that dig in on the out stroke.(Now u know why they make such a god-awful noise at mating time, its cries of pain) Then, the female gets her own back , coz when theyre finished, she turns around and beats 7 shades of shit out of the male. I couldnt allow all that to go on in my house.

Transplanted the babies on 1/5. Went from 16oz cups to 2 gallon pots.

Still using Foxfarm Ocean Forest and Light warrior mix.

Gave them Earth Juice Grow 1/2 strength for the past week.

Full Strength this week.

Greetings all:

Time for the weekly Bottle Rocket Update.

First, thanks to all who have responded and are keeping up with this thread.

Lots to report this week.

First, the kids moved into their own home this week. I have a c-13 cab that I have modified to be 42" deep as opposed to the out of the box 24" depth. All other dimensions are stock. In the cab is a 400W HPS Hortilux and a 256cfm blower, a few fans too. The cab details and pics some other time. Onto the kids.

These things are going great. Wonderful leaf structure (edges so sharp they'd cut ya), just sexy sativa. Still stinkers if you brush against em. Real stinkers.

Out of my 7 - four are of the same pheno type. Looking like normal sativas. One is twice as bushy as the others and has alternating nodes. I have one that is just runty and one that split after its first set of leaves and has recovered into a pretty lil plant.

The real sativa looking ones got tied down a few nights ago and have responed like you would wish (sumission).





Having a blast. They seem to beg for the nutes, haven't choked them yet.

Love this plant, its lineage, its potential.

Weekly update everyone.

Bottle Rockets now at day 42 Veg (14 days floro, 28 days 400W MH).

I tied most of em down last week. I now have shrubs. Beautiful bushy shrubs.



The runt isn't a runt anymore, its just beautiful and the one that had split at its first set is excellent. One side of the split became super dominant and it almost looks like the others now. Lesson there is believe in your babies :D

Nutes this week peaked at 20ml Earth Juice Grow and 7.5ml Earth Juice MicroBlast.

Scaled down to 15ml / 5ml this week.

Topped them as well today (FIM'd em)

Having a blast with this wonderful strain.

Rez, being a C99 dom cross, which of the remaining influences are contributing to this Stink?! :D

Finally, regarding a thread this week that saddened and angered the whole community.

What you seem to have there is a nice,uniform hyrbid,from the looks of things....and with C99 on both sides,it's always gonna' be a win-win :smile:
Keep em light-leak free,and be :nice: to 'em,and I think you'll find that BR isn't like anything else out there....by a long shot!
