I am currently enjoying smoking some bud that had some spider mites.
I was busy with other work when that indoor crop was flowering. And the little Mites got out of hand. Ladybugs helped.
One of the things I noticed was an increase in skunk smell.
I had a neighbor who grows complain about a skunk smell, like he thought real skunks were moving in and he was worried about his chickens.
No skunks made an appearance. The smell seemed to go away as that grow got bagged and tagged.
Anyway, it reminded me a little of what they do with wine grapes.
Sometimes using the Botrytis mold, sometimes using freezing weather, they make really good tasting wine. Though I suppose some of it might be an acquired taste.
I just wonder if a batch of Cannabis plants undergoing real adverse conditions - what other growers might have noticed.
Like I said, I enjoyed the smoke and there was a strangely pronounced Skunk smell.
