Bothered about NSA surveillance?

Today (Feb 11, 2014) is supposed to be the big day to write to your congressman, and let them know what you think. Personally I don't think they did a very good job i didn't hear about it until I got home from work today, but here is the website:

Yeah, I've been reading about this. They say there's already been 20,000 calls into Congress about this today. They say they've tied up all the lines...

They're pushing the new Freedom Act. It's supported by most of the cool NGOs like EFF, ACLU, etc as well as corporations like google and yahoo (if ya trust those!)

Anything is better than what we have now, with no oversight to the NSA.

We know they can't be trusted.

Just the fact that Ed Snowden could access all that data shows something is serious wrong with the NSA's collection and storage of our personal info.

All that personal info is the primary key to controlling everyone in so many ways...

Went to the link provided, they had it set up so it was real easy and quick to both send them an email and make a call. Wish I felt better about the one I was asking to do something . Guess it beats not doing anything.
