first time grower here.
running an hydrogroled 126w in a 2x3x5 cab
temps 82-84
hum 40-50%
ro water treated to 6p.h.

started some aurora indica and power kush late friday night.
germed up by saturday afternoon so put them in rapid rooters.
they are doing good so far.
ive got the tap roots coming out of the rooter plugs and its starting to branch.
right now the roots are poking out 3/4 to 1" in all the plugs.

my question is when should i move them over to a bigger pot?

i will eventually be putting them in 4 gallon hempy buckets but am planning to run an intermediate pot b4 going into the big bucket.
or should they go directly into hempy from rooter?

sorry for the newb questions, been searching threads for hours but cant find my answer.

Not sure what others will say, I've never used rapid rooters.
I would put them into an intermediate sized hempy now to protect
your tap roots which should be getting too long for those plugs in
short order.
Let them fill out some in there before the move to the final bucket.

if u have the space go straight into it final hempy. Sooner the roots hit the bottom the better. The plant wont grow till the roots hit the res so transplanting hempys aint a good idea

thanks for the info guys.
i ended up transplanting them last night into 12 oz mini hempy cups, didnt have the courage to stick those itsybitsy girls into my big 4 gallon hempys yet.
will run them for a few days in the cups till the roots build a little more b4 going large.

while transplanting i was surprised and happy to find that the 1"of visible roots were really 3-4" long and just growing in circles till the end popped out.
