Pheno #1 (Sour Dark)

This was the shorter of the 2 phenos with much closer bud space. This phenos has a very strong hard to describe smell with a very fruity tone to it. It smells like berry gasoline and is an extreamly hard hitter that is recomended to only smoke when it is dark out or your ready for bed. Ill add smoke report later when i can sit down and enjoy one of these.

Pheno #2 (Sour Light)

This is the second pheno i found. This one was absolutely covered in frost and had an eletric blue tinge to it. This stuff was the taller of the 2 phenos and almost finished twice the height as pheno #1 but they both yeild close to the same. The smoke off this one is a very energetic uplifting buzz with a hard punch to it much more workable then pheno #1. The smell of this one was pure to the danky Gasoline side not too fruity like the other This one is a gem.

Outstanding report lucid, best ive seen in a while. sounds like perfect descri[ptions to me.

I know BOG would be VERY happy to see someone growing his piece de resistance (according to him) as well as you have. I see him over at another site sometimes, but I agree, I wish he was back too. BOG is the reason I started growing. Awesome plants, sour bubble lite sounds like a keeper to me

I have a local strain similar looking to those plants in most aspects and any advice you have would help me. sorry to hijack with a question and i really wish i could smoke some of that with you bro.

Sour Bubble is some of the most interesting shit I've grown in some time. The taste/smells are fantastic! The head is just as good!

I see the leaves are yellowing up nicely for harvest time, that's important with this strain, as it seems to hold on to it's green longer than most plants being fed the same amount. The yellowing is GOOD at harvest, if it's for lack of nutrients, which I believe this one is.

From the looks of it, the second one is closer to what BOG was after in so far as the bud structure and smell. The ones that turn out looking like your pheno#2 seem to be the stinkier, danker phenos. :wink:

bongoman - backcrossing is the process of taking a son back to the mother for a cross (bx1) and then another subsequent son (more resembling the desired traits) is crossed with a cut of the original mother (bx2) and so on... this causes more of the desired expression in the offspring trusting the dominance breeds true.
