BOG sour bubble/boggle questions

Popped 7 seeds each of BOG Sour Bubble and Sour Boggle. Going out late, I know, but it’s been 6 years I have had these seeds. I’m looking for some advice on these strains now.
I grew out one Sour Bubble last year after my dog ate the other one, and she did pretty well. Very easy to grow and could not get enough nutrients. The problem I had though is that it grew an obnoxious amount of huge, fat, dark green leaves with enormous stems. I bet a single stalk could have been 10 feet tall and not snapped in a windstorm, no joke. The flowers developed rock hard, but when trimmed all you can see is a bunch of leaves. It also smells very grassy after curing for months. Not pleasant at all. The high is nice though.

So I have a few questions -
1. Are there just some phenos that are duds?
2. What can I do to get more flowers and less leaves in my colas?
3. Why did she smell so grassy? Too much N in Veg?

Note -
I grew out a bunch of cherry pie alongside the SB and just killed it on those plants. The colas were huge and smelly, most weighing in at a half oz dried. Tons of 1/8g nugs with nice density. All of my jars smell like straight cherries and the cure is impeccable. Trichs were monitored and chopped when almost all were cloudy.
I use caliber 4s and mason jars and did a 10 day dry in a 60f sealed room. My jars have all held steady at ~60% Rh since I quit burping. For some reason that SB never got past that grassy smell though.

I use GreenGro’s full lineup of nutrients for all my grows.

Here’s photos of the sour bubble growing and cured. You can see it looks like a straight cabbage patch, leaves everywhere.

And here’s a pic of the cherry pie nugs cured, just for credibility. I’ve come a long way since I joined this site in 2015.
