BOG Seeds next Strain Determined...

I have had some difficulty knowing what would be next after finishing Lifestar to the 3rd bx stage. People have been asking me and for me it just happens after meditation and time. Sometimes I ride my 4 wheeler out very far into the mountains to consider my choices.


Thats my Lifestar 1st bx with the clone lifestar bud barely seen on the left. I'm happy with the way lifestar is going and Sour Bubble is done. It's awesome if I do say so myself.

I want to compare some buds for you now and then tell you what's next.

She's just gorgeous! And I see that given leg room she'll get fairly large, which is good, give me less trouble keeping the canopy even :wink:. They'll be going in with some hybrids which lean more to sativa and grow medium tall.How lovely that plant is....the almost blue-green colors of the leaves is awesome and the frost is right on time . Thank you BOG, now I'm happy!

This sounds like a perfect combination. I get migraines and have limited growing space. I'm growing Bogglegum & Lifesaver now and wanted to try Sour Bubble & Sweet Cindy next time.

Just curiosity - how long does it take you to get a new strain to a point that you feel it's stable enough to release? Not necessarily time since that will vary, but # of generations. Would I be close by guessing maybe 3-4 generations for an initial release and another 3-4 to get it perfected? 2-4 years work depending on veg & flower periods? Talk about long-term projects!

Ya know when I ride out into the wilderness I find places that have burned in huge forest fires that occurred 3 years back. It is too soon for the little trees to be growing back but they will.

Ambre, it varys depending on where you start. As in the case of Lifesaver Subcool created JCB and I built on his work by crossing it to my Bogbubble. It was only bx'd once because stability wasnt as important as pain killing capacity and I didnt wish to take any chances. So it didnt take long.

Bogbubble and Bogglegum did take years to find the right phenos and to get true breeding. Now I pre release strains like Lifestar 1st bx or Sour Bubble 1st or 2nd bx for fun mainly. Everyone knows its in the process and that the supplies of these are very limited.

Anyone can wait as long as they wish before they feel comfortable with one of my strains and the results are the proof more than any predictions or tests.

Looks like you are getting in the "lets make a new strain" mode I guess that keeps you on your toes.
I like the idea of using your Sour Bubble Bx2 the super indica pheno x any elite Kush most likely a lemon kush to keep the flavors almost alike. "Sour Kush" mmmm that sounds good, that would be a really nice match up.

Ya know budrunners there are an awful lot of possibilities to choose from when we look at the future but you have to focus on one at a time or at least I do. They can overlap as projects and improvements can come to any strain with good selection because nature always comes back no matter what.

In a few years this will be a green forest again without replanting. BOG

Sour Saver = ECSD pheno of DSD mother crossed with Lifesaver males (bx 3 times).

GumBalls = Jacks Cleaner pheno of Lifesaver mother crossed with Sour Bubble males.

Double Sour Bubble = ECSD pheno of DSD mother crossed with Sour Bubble males.

First, let me state that i grow 1 of you strains and have smoked several. i love my bogglegum.

BUT, i must say , from a concerned client's view, that i think you are coming out with a lot of strains.

i don't know about the quality of much of it, but i do know that coming out with so many strains makes it look like you are saying "hey, why don't i cross this one with this one, it might be cool."

To me, breeders that release time tested and fewer kick ass strains appeal more. and you're losing that appeal.

but, do what you want.... you're BOG
