BOG Lifesaver

Just beautiful GH. We just cut some fresh Lifesaver at 36 days. I swear it's done. Her sisters are going 40 but this girl was in the Hortilux sweet spot. Yes, she's been smoke tested and though very green she took my fricking head off.

Yours,
Dr. Jay

Yuppers, this Lifesaver finished in 36 days. Today is day 38 and we cut one more. The final two sisters are going 40.

I'd love to let them go longer but they're done! This is a terrible pic and I promise to get some better ones this weekend. The dried LS is nearly blue. Is it good? Oh man.

Dr. Jay

That pic of mine was one grown from seed...

It is true that there is some variation but the worst plants are still pretty good and the best ones just defy logic. BOG ;)

this one was grown from seed too... 5-6weeks flowering LS.

Why is it some (very few) folks say they think Lifesaver is weak? I've been smoking a bowl of it all day cause my back is out and I'm higher than the Rover. Here's one more pic of fresh cut Lifesaver. Thank you BOG!

Dr. jay

Of the two fem's I've had, One yielded alright, but smelled and smoked excellently... The other yielded excellently, tasted pretty good, and smoked alright... I am keeping both for now, 'till a better one sprouts... I would rate one a 6 on yield and an 8 on high, The other 8 on yield and 7 on high... :D

We're curing our supply of Lifesaver now for the next few months. Lifesaver is better used fresh so I take care not to dry it out too much and to keep it in airtight amber glass. It'll keep about 6 months that way with little to no degradation.

I figure I must be a real lightweight because the Sativa pheno Lifesaver we have now rates a solid 8.5-9.0 on a 1-10 scale and that is STRONG. I understand some have Indica phenos that yield a bit better but are rated more like a 7.5-8.0. I'll take the potency over yield.

During the cure these LS buds turn rock hard and smoke like grape hash. Yum.

Dr. jay

Grape hash nuggies :) But it takes a few weeks to harden up like that (kinda like me LOL).

For those disbelievers that Lifesaver could finish in 38 days here is a bowl just cut. Big YUM.

Dr. jay

Good eye! Yes, it's Jimmy writing about Texas Radio and the big Beat.

"Out here on the periphery there are no stars. We are stoned immaculate"

When your role models include the likes of Jim Morrison you know you're going to have an interesting life :)

I first saw the Doors at my high school in 1966. We opened our stadium with a rock concert that opened with the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, followed by the Doors, and headlined by the Jefferson Airplane. True story. Birmingham High School, Van Nuys California 1966!

Dr. Jay
