Bog BMR in trouble

I have 2 Blue Moon Rocks I am hoping to make into mother plants, if they are both female :yummy: , they are at 3 weeks and I did not water for a few days and this morning they were drooping, well its been about 6 hours since watering and they still look the same. I hope someone can tell me the problem with this as I am getting really woried reading all these posts about bog's seeds possibly being F2's. I am a fairly experienced grower, and I have had even severe dry spells, and I would water my plants and watch them rejuvenate within minutes. Also in the second pic is my peyote, I have 2 of them and I saw a fucking spider mite in the cactus soil I planted them in, so I just hope shit does not get worse, my plants are far away from them now, and any suggestions would be appreciated. also notice the yellowing? I am cutting back on nutes, I was giving them foxfarm grow big, but I think I will give them strait spring water for a week. Also the potting soil is Foxfarm ocean forest mix.

question, was the soil dry when you watered them? the reason i ask is those plants actually look overwatered. if you can, pop one of them out of its pot and take a pic of the roots, if they are not white and growing well, you might do well to try and replace some of that soil and use more perilite in the mix. also water with a peroxide solution to get some oxygen to those roots.if im not mistaken, fox farm already has nutes in it so i wouldnt add ferts until they were in it for at least 1-2 weeks after planting in it!

it does look like over watering to me too, and with that soil and those plants being that small there isn't a reason to be ferting them already

hmm, thanks for the input, they are still very droopy I will cut back on watering them especially with ferts. the soil was completely dry when I watered. My new 150w hps is not air cooled, so I need to air cool that shit because my soil keeps drying out. I checked the roots like you said and they look alright, although not vigerous. I think a transplant when they are better with exta perlite like you said.

I have one BMR female two weeks away from harvest, and I've got to say I'm not very impressed... yet. I'll definitely pop the rest of the pack at some point, but this pheno doesn't smell very special, and has been outyielded embrassingly by Nirvana's NL x Big Bud under the same conditions. My inital impression is that this is a strain that needs to be babied.

I got 2 BMR outside and they are 6 weeks old. I know what your saying in regards to the drooping leaves. My babies are well taken care of and are not stressed at all, yet my plants tend to droop also. Im thinking its genetics. Ill keep yall posted...

finally a BMR thread/grow!!!!

finally a BMR thread/grow!!!!

whats up man... I too have some BMR flowering right now, 9 to be exact, and I have never been anything but totally blown away by this strain...
:yoinks: I LOVE IT!!! My first run of her was the most beautiful, frosty, dense, potent, and just all around delish girl Ive ever grown...The nine I have goin right now are small, compact nodes, very frosty already @ 5 weeks. These are a bit slower than my last due to only CFL's, my 1st time was with a 400 watter. Anyhow, ur problem looks like overwatering. Let em dry out a bit and Im sure they'll perk up. It looks like u got some of the dark green, shorty pheno. I have one right now too. The rest are typical indica growth. Short, compact, fat sticky nugs. check out some pics. These are from last week!!! Enjoy and Ill be watchin this thread. Later.

my BMR was pretty finnicky early on also

never really looked healthy til mid flower... then she bounced back great...

i summed up my problem to under-feeding... because i was ready to give up on her and just decided to give her a heavier feeding then the other plants in my garden as a last resort and she bounced back great after that

not saying thats what you should do... but it helped mine... im looking forward to a second run with her to try and dial her in because she smells incredible...

i will agree with others and say that your plants look overwatered... maybe the 150 is just drying out the top of the soil? i know that a day after watering my plants the top of the soil looks and feels dry... but when i lift the pot its still heavy and obviously has some moisture in the soil... i found that my BMR needed less frequent waterings... and more nutes than the other strains in my garden... but she was definitely the nute hog of the bunch... the smallest plant i have going, and she eats like a pig...lol

anyway here is my BMR from a couple of days ago... hang in there with them... i was almost ready to cull mine a few months ago... now im glad i didnt...

Creeptic's spot on.

Lessen the frequency of your waterings and ramp up your nutes slowly. You'll be surprised how much she will eat!

I started out with half strength nutes.....about 600-700 ppm. Peaked out at 1900-2000 ppm by the last feeding.

I also use a 150w hps in a small space, but I have a cool tube and didn't have the dry soil problem. I found that in my approx. 2 gal. containers, the BMR would need water every third or fourth day. But the Blockhead in the same container, would need water every other day. MUCH more thirsty, but not as heavy a feeder.

Good luck and if I can be of any assistance..... just holla.

BMR on either side. BH center.

Well im 4 weeks into flower with my BMR outside. I forced flowered her for 3 weeks then put her outside. She smell great. Out of 2 phenos i got from seed, one was a lot thicker. The thinner one had a few early male bananas so i put her at my buddies house just in case it might pollinate my other babies. So far so good. kept a few clones so i can try her i nside. I hope she is really potent>>
