I live in Austin texas and went to the Bob Marley fest a week ago it was the shit. We baught acid, smoked all night and drank margarita's out of long bong looking cups. With us all tripping we go on an adventure to make it to a buddy's apartment, his girlfriend was bitching at him the whole time and we gave them some free acid and it didn't make it much better. After we got on our route and finally navigated successfully I decided I wanted beer. So I coaxed this crackhead to do a beer run for 5$ worth of blow. He wanted to get in our car and go for a "ride" as he put it, so I told him to "fuck off".

Sounds like you need to surround yourself with better people. I could be wrong man. But keep yourself out of bad company.

I too attended the Austin Reggae Fest(marley), had a blast, Easy Star All Stars kicked ass! I wasn't doing any drugs besides toking the herb though, so I probably didn't have as much "fun" as you

sounds to me like a fukin' waste of what could have been a great day of honoring Bob Marley.
I'm not impressed, Bob would not have been impressed, and I know there are other peeps on here who aren't impressed.

Besides this is an MJ site....last I knew you weren't supposed to disguss your acid and crack use. :confused:

Did I say I was a crack consumer? How about you proof-read and have your posts approved by your sister. However even though I am a cannabis head I don't really care for hippie shit, reggae music or Bob Marley. However I did have a good time at the fest, great trip atmosphere and the tunes sounded good on acid but it all sounded the same to me. However crackheads do become useful at times. They'll do anything for a 10$ rock.

Absolutely. That is not is what the festival is about. It is about freedom and tolerance, not exploiting a crack addict.

I think if you actually listened to the music at the Marley Fest you attended, the criticism in this thread would be a little easier to overstand.

I thought it was shady for my friend to wait for a migrant worker near Save-On and ask him in spanish to buy him beer. A little 16 year old white kid hoppin out of his brand new 2004 Tacoma and cruisin up to someone who lives out in a camp in the bushes and asking them to buy you beer.

Now i'm 21 and those days are long gone.

Your comment about how the crackhead would do anything for a rock makes me think you are like the creators of that dumbass movie Bumfights.
