Boat blowers?

I found this blower that has 138 CFM for 20$ not including shipping:

anybody have any experience or advise on this one? I'm thinking this could be a good vent fan... IDK I'm cheap and I think this seems like a deal.

Get a stanley or lasko Fan. $45 bux, more than enuf cfm.

those look pretty good, i'm just looking for a vent fan in the near future for 6*55watts of CFL for flowering.

They come up from time to time and all agree they seem cool but, I've yet to hear anyone praise them in use.

Boat blowers do move alot of air, and are (most of them) heat, spark & smoke resistant because they are designed to vent engine compartments.
The problem with these is maaaajor noise pollution. But since they are mainly 12 or 24 volts, dropping the voltage to around 6V will help, of course the cfm's will decrease with the volts. Good for small spaces, my friend is cooling a small 250hps cab with one, a succesful harvest was just yesterday.
Obviously you need a decent power supply for these gadgets.
