First let me say that this was my first real grow and the curing process went slightly awry (had a bit of heat 1 day (90 minutes) that darkened the buds, but did not fast dry them). So the final potency and flavor should be slanted against my own inexperience as a grower.
The 5 pack of BLZ I received had 4 different genotypes, 1 indica leaning, 1 chunky hybrid, and 2 lanky sativas (orange and trainwreck). The high is the same for 3 of the 4, varying in the amount of downward potency is added to the mix. The 4th (trainwreck) was purely "clear" sativa.
The high for the other 3 could be described as pleasant, smooth, uplifting, relaxing, and if you smoke a lot....confusing. Reminds me of sour diesel, but with a slightly disorienting twist to it. It didn't have the "bang your dead" potency of the high end kushes in my area, but that could just as easily be attributed to my own inexperience.
BHO made from BLZ has a very happy/social effect as long as you stay up, but if you find yourself alone with a couch, expect to wake up after a long nap.
The flavor of BLZ varies by genotype......centering around a sweet/floral/candy note. The indica dominant genotype had a spicy/earth twist that the others did not. The "trainwreck" had almost no smell to it at all.
Overall, it was a good smoke. It was definitely "mid-shelf" from my garden....but a pro could likely have done better. A good choice for a grower if you want a polyhybrid sativa dominant with heavy yield. A good choice for a smoker if you want a sativa dom hybrid with an unusual kick to it.
I would happily give it another go after I get my skills up.
