can a pump used to distribute water be added to these. my idea is to feed from a basement to the first floor. idk if the pump would have to time itself to feed the cones every few hours then the pant would absorb as needed??

R F P im no pro, but reading, and trial and error have taught me a bit. If i may say, the point of blu mats would be no pump ,and , gravity fed to drippers. cones dry ,opening pipe ,and voila.water to plants .Of course getting set up and running may increase scratching of head .....For what you are proposing you may want to just use drippers per say .Many styles ,sizes ,configuarations possible!
