Bluestreak (blueryder) balcony grow

[Bluestreak]

This was my first grow. I chose autoflowering strain, because the only place I could grow is my balcony. Soil is ordinary for balcony flowering plants, no fertilizer, watering when the soil was dry. Pots were 2L.
First 3 seeds I sowed in april died after 1 week, i dont know why...
Then I sow 6 seeds... (7th may, day 0)
young plants, the interesting one is far right, it has 3 leaves, instead of 2!

7th week I removed males, here are females alone:

then I lost couple of pictures, meanwhile sow one last seed, which we will look later, here are almost ready plants:

I harvested the right one at 11th week, it was full of seeds and almost no weed, here are the seeds:

I harvested her 12th week, these are pictures after 1 week of drying:

not much, but very potent, smelly and stick-icky, mmmm

Here is one last plant, this one i fertilized with blooming fertilizer, and she really boosted her growth:

but unfortunately, she cought spider-mites, those little mothefukcers made me to harvest it way to early, let the pictures speak for themselves:

as I was saying, I harvested the main stem, but leave young not ready branches:

and put it in water to decorate my room for another week

smoke vas very harsh because of fertilizer, but I need to cut it early, because spider mites were progressing very fast!

So... i get 3 females out of 7 seeds, yield was not big, about 3g, but smell was awsome! From first 2 plants I get about 120 seeds for next season experiments

Plants were so small (about 25-30cm) because of small pots, but I believe every year will get better.

all of those buds were harvested way too early. spider mites is no reason to cut the plant down.

Yeah, if I had mites I would grow them till they were near death, I really wouldn't mind smoking a few microscopic bugs if it meant some more potent smoke.

Very potent, smooth, smell of smoke was strong, thought they smelled like hay until I squeeze them little - I couldn't wait too fully cure in jars... yet everybody praised it, cuz around here, we usually get shitty weed. High was decent also, we were all happy I always got big munchies, when high slowly faded away...
The second round of fertilized spidermite-plant's buds was harsh smoke and not so good smell, I didn't like it :X I should had leave it for couple of weeks and flush it, which I didn't do...

Last week I planted 3 seeds I made from them, as an experiment how is Bluestreak growing with minimum sun this time of the year (T here are curently 10°C in the morning and 20°C at day, mostly rain; when T will lower I'll but them inside)

PS: thin white hairs on pictures are my white cat's hair, I took care of them, before I smoked buds

those are not spider mites

That is thrip damage

The first pics show they are pollinated, the hairs should not be turning brown, that early in life

But i would guess, you learned alot for your first run. My first run, I grew out males, not knowing what to look for.. I just thought they were funky buds. Needless to say, all my failed attempts taught me something.

I started 10 of these recently. Had 100% germination. Was fortunate enough to have had someone send me a tiny bit of finished product which I vaped. Very nice potency and in the vape the after taste was pure blueberry goodness. I was impressed with it TBH. My only other auto was lowryder which was not very tasty or near as potent.

I agree. The damage definitely appears to be from thrips. Next time use some Monterey Garden Spray and/or Azamax and follow the bottles foliar/soil drench application instructions. Totally could of left them up and pulled much more man :-( ...darn bugs...also I would suggest to not start them in see-through cups/containers because the roots don't really like the light. Looks good though.
