We have "can-o-bud" here in the midwest. Only they have an easy open pull tops on em, like a can of pringles. The can itself is the size of a snack size can of pringles...... Jus like anything else that's canned, if the can is heated and then sealed it creates a vaccum and no smell should be detected by dogs. I would think it would stay fresh a very long time too.... I knew someone who used to get canned bud from the phillipines back in the '80's. It was sativa, very crystally, and some of it had streaks of purple. I thought it was a pretty good idea.

Crazy shit, never seen anything like it.

LoL @ 'the can' - that's exactly the sort of buzz term that would catch on round here.. 'What you got dude?' - 'A nice bit of the can as it happens!" - knowing the natives in my area, people would be going round claiming 'the can' for any weed that looks decent..

Seriously dont listen to pistilpete he is wrong.

Thirded, btw. The can is probably more for stackability & disguise than anything else.

I didn't realize that vapors of caryophyllene oxide possessed the same properties as electromagnetic radiation and were thus able to pass through metallic planes. Congratulations, SDOG, on formulating your mature theory of the wave/particle duality of weed-stink.

Not being funny, but there's no need to take that attitude with someone who is clearly just looking out for ICMag-ers best interests. :noway:

Walter White, get the can and leave it in your car. Do something reckless and get pulled over. Then explain to the officer about particle physics/electromagnetism, and about how his German Shepherd's nose is wrong...

He's so smart let him pack a dog food truck full of those cans and we can see what happens. Don't forget he is the first one to think of this idea. Just like all the other guys before him. :joint:

We have canned ganja just like that around here. Comes in a sealed can, generally costs about 240 an oz which is getting a bit pricey but its always pretty much the best weed you could BUY, better than 99% of the commercial shit around here anyway

Im not sure if a dog can smell through a can .If it had negitive preasure I would think not.For those who are sure it can what are your basing you opintion on just want to know the facts.

I know, for a fact, that certain dogs have the ability to smell every individual ingredient in a cake behind a closed door in the next room. Fact.

They also train dogs to find CANCER in living people...
They also train dogs to smell the molecular difference of various types of explosives...

You mean to tell me that if you put a can of tuna or weed or whatever the hell you want in front of a dog with a good nose (hounds and herding dogs) that they cant smell the contents of the can?

Get a dog, that's my reference

"Breston (a dog) uncovered a shipment of marijuana in heat-sealed Mylar bags, inside plastic-lined crates sealed with foam sealant, inside a closed storage garage."

Your nose = 5 millions receptors

Dog nose = 200 million receptors

Have even a little speck of anything on the outside and you are toast.

A dog can not smell the pot through the can because the odor can't escape from the can. It is impossible. Dogs would be able to smell the most minute amount of residual odor on the outside of the can though. Like when my buddy got busted on his ship the dog went down through 7 sealed hatches and to his locker. It was a path he had taken though and was not the most direct route to his locker from where the dog started.

If somebody sealed the can and then washed it with alcohol and then soap and water and then gave it to me. Then I placed it in a bucket of alcohol. Went and took a shower at a non smoking friends house and put on brand new never worn clothes, went to a car lot and got a brand new car went back to the bucket of alcohol and took out the can with a pair of brand new tongs and put the can on a brand new towel and dried it completely and put it on the floor of the car I would go out and find a cop with a scent dog and he could check it all he wants because that dog will not smell anything.

You smell like pot when you touch stuff even being very careful. It is difficult to get rid of the residual scent trail. That is what gets people busted. If cans let smell out things would spoil because stuff would get in.
