Blueberry 40 days

This is my first female ive gotten, and boy does she look gorgeous. Sorry for the shitty pics but I only have a cell phone with 5mp to work with. Well anyways, its planted in happy frog soil. I water every couple days and every other water I use 2 capfuls of big bloom from foxfarm. Id say she gets about 7 hours direct sunlight each day.

Now for my one question. Does she look under-developed? On the site I got the seeds, it said to not UNDERwater and im afraid that every 3 days isn't sufficient.

Any comments and suggestions greatly appreciated since this is my first lady!

it looks underdeveloped sure, but what can u do, 7 hours of light and all. thats just how it goes sometimes, looks fed ok. u should try to get her under alot of light, id say 20 hours under a 40cfl would be better then 7 hours of only a sun a day.

I took tokenbone suggestion and now when the sun is no longer directly on her, i put her next to 2 CFl's. Hopefully she fattens.

I will definitely be sharing a smoke report once shes done. shes already smelling fruity and i cant wait!

easy

your plant does not look under developed at the end of the day its an auto so dont expect big things

i myself have grown auto bluberry in nft it was my 1st ever grow and i was a little dissapointed with its performance, i ended up with about 15g dry weight id hoped for better things im yet to see a decent blueberry auto plant on the market that performs well.

and yes she was a bit sensitive to over feeding, ive posted a couple of pics so you can gauge and hopefully try and better what i did, the strain i grew was from low life seeds in case any 1 is reading and i wouldnt advise buying them

thanks for the info skotty, as i to am growing lowlifes. i would be ecstatic with 15g lol. i see u mentioned a sensitivity to nutes. what nutes were you using because i feel if anything ive been over feeding with big bloom but she seems to love it. On the bottle it says its organic and is impossible to overfeed. were you using organic nutes as well?

I would like to try this strain of auto after I get a couple of grows under my belt. Right now I've got Onyx and Auto Assassin going outside.

Anyway, how did she smoke for you? Taste good? Good high?
If the answers to that are yes then I wouldnt mind giving it a try. I have tons of room outside. I would do a seed run and then plant 30 or 40 of them hoping to get 15 females. 15 grams off of 15 females wouldnt be to bad a deal. I like to use that eleventy bazillion HID in the sky.

i only grow in water mate and i use canna as my base nutes but if your usng organics then knock yaself out, like you siad you cant really over feed with that stuff

texas

after you have smoked that onyx and auto assasin which i think is a more sativa type mi5 then every other auto you smoke after it is gonna be a step backwards because they are probably some of the best autos available at the minute

i strongly advise to avoid the bluberry strain and lowlife seeds as its shit i also had 2 hermies outta 5 fem seeds

just my opinion

I hugely disagree with this statement. It does look underdeveloped with the actual life cycle part of the plant. Look at the age to bud development of this plant. i dont think that the watering caused the underdevelopment and slow growth of this plant, it was due to light. There is a reason that they say they should get no less than 12 hrs a day. 7 hrs was not cutting it. i ran 18/6 and watered every third or even fourth day so his water schedule for that pot is about right. And if done right you can expect huge things from autos, i got 42g in a 6" pot.

Here i was at day 42. I know its a different strain but this is 18 hours of direct light.

i think his plant is looking better than mine did under 18/6 light cycle and grown in nft

the plant itself is a shit strain to grow, 40 days is about right its around 5 weeks from seed if its an 8 week grow it will fill out in the next 3 weeks it seems spot on to me they dont yield massively and anything can happen in a weeks cycle :)

you can only polish a turd so much but at the end of the day its still a turd :)

its down to genetics and the breeder

same starin as the grower approx 40 days

This is true, most of the time there is only so much a strain can do. As you mentioned above this comes back on the breeder. Breeding takes time and patience if you want to develop something good. If the breeder is looking for 100% auto and a quick buck, you are going to see a crap strain. But if the breeder takes time and looks for specific traits of the plant, and crosses them with others that have a specific function you can have a lethal combo.

as stated before im not a massive fan of lowlife seeds and i tell everybody to avoid them at all costs due to piss poor genetics, save your money and buy the tried and tested strains or research the strain before you buy it so you know what to expect and get a good idea of how to get the best from them.

I have some Blueryders growing (I guess they are some sort of blueberry?) and they are growing/flowering well and are about the size of Dieselryders. Last year I harvested way to early so they only gave about 15gr/plant but the smoke is/was very good.

to be honest if i was gonna get less than 1 oz from an auto then i wouldnt be intrested in growing it but thats just my opinion.

ive grown more or less all of lowlifes strains and NOT 1 strain was a let down . all yeilder over 40g per plant NOT 1 hermied . .
good fem to male rate as well .
the best to date was the ak47 x hindu kush she was the best looking auto ive seen with a knockout stoned .

for some 1 who sells 10000s of seeds per week they cant be that bad can they .

This is true i think that it all comes back to the grower as well. Not saying that you grow bad at all. Thats not what i am getting at. It all comes back to the love and care of the plant. If you treat them like gold you will be rewarded.
