Hi everybody,
Just started a new grow with a new cab which is 60x60x75cm. As you can see in the photo there are 3x25W cfl on the back to germinate the seeds(actually just one now) . Then they are moved under a 150w Hps.
there are also 2 pc fans. one for the intake and one for the outtake.
I was unlucky with germination. 6 seeds where placed in rockwool and just 3 germinated. Now that i put 2 more one sprouted the wrong way... the root came out instead of the leafs... so i made some kind of recovery but i don't know if it's going to leave... anyway i'm still waiting for the other one to sprout and tomorrow i'm goin to put two more seeds in rockwool.
So now it's 10 days for the 3 babys. The two on the left already showed some balls and i'm plannin on makin some seeds. Isn't it to early for the babys to show their sex?
The lower leafs are also showing some sign of suffer. it looks like a N carency. What do you think? Since now I haven't fertilized yet. Or maybe it's just time to move them on bigger pots?

Glad to see you have joined the AF growing revolution.

Sorry to say you are making mistakes a few places, as those plants at should look much bigger and more healthy, they look stunted and starving.

You are growing in soil, why did you start them in rockwool?
You can just plant them directly into well watered soil no more or no less then 1/2 in deep ( 1.2cm ). Water every other day a little bit to keep the soil at the top very moist until you get sprouts. Or you can try to germ in other things like peat pellets ( which i think suck! compared to direct soil planting) or Rapid Rooters (which are kinda like peat pellets but better but expensive).

Germing the seeds in a paper towel and so on is not a good idea. It can damage the root tip causing many problems. I really dont know why humans think that a plant that has survived millions of yrs in the wild needs specail help to germinate and grow healthy. Think nature poeple PUT THE DAMN SEEDS IN THE WELL WATERED SOIL! Just like the process that would occur in nature!

As for the lighting , with AFs you need to keep the light on them at all times, keeping only some cfls on them will stunt them, turn that 150watt HPS the very day they break soil.

As for your soil,, to me it looks like it is shit,, what brand is it and does it have organic food or chemical food in it? Organics is the best thing to get into when using soil, you can use FoxFarm Ocean Forest soil mix, it has enough food and the correct drainage for excellent grow. You can use Earth Juice , Grow, Bloom, Catalyst, to feed. That is a simple and 100% Organic method that will make your plants grow like crazy!

Needs soil and more light. There should be about 1/3 perlite mixed in your soil. My sprouts are under 400. They need light.

When I make seeds you wll want your females to be a couple of weeks ahead of your boys to get a good number of seeds. It will still work this way, but you will get only a few seeds.

You soil looks way to heavy.

Ehi. Just rooted two more seeds in soil and both sprouted.
The soil is mixed with some clay instead of perlite and is also mixed with some organic food bought at a gardening shop. But it was just an experiment.
I think next time i'm going to buy some biobizz allmix at the local growshop.
Anyway one of the two males got a little bit burned (unfortunatly the plants are not in my house so i don't have a complet control on them) and it's a little bit stunted. The other one(photo) was transplanted in a 2.5L pot and is going to make some pollen within the next days, so i'm going to bring it out of the grow room.

The Female is now in a 6L pot and looks small but healty(photo).

Update.
The only female is looking good. The problem the first days was just overwatering... just learning from mistakes.
She's now 25 days. I pollinated a lower branch with a brush from a male that is now in another room.
I'm planning on using some molasses in the next days. Right now i'm just worried that the plant grows too much and get to close to the light. Right now she's at about 30cm from the light.

Not bad so far ...But one problem i do see along with the others stated is that you mixed clay into your soil? I wouldnt recommend this espically for autos since root growth is KEY for them using clay will make the soil heavier and give the plant more work, try adding 20-30 percent perlite to your mix and you will see a decent height improvement i would imagine...

she's not feeling good right now! Especially the lower leaves have got yellow and brown spots and some leaves Does it looks like nutes burn or some kind of deficency?
The soil is mixed with 6 spoons of fertilezer (photo attached) and i'm watering every 3 days. The new plant looks like it's having the same kind of problem.
Got any advice??

guaranteed nuteburn, on the bigger plant and the seedling too. Yo man it looks like a pretty shitty soil mix ur usin... get some fox farm, or roots organic soil, you'll be glad you did.

edit - after lookin at ur pictures again i would say nuteburn isn't the only problem, it looks like somethin else is gettin locked out. hows ur ph?

I haven't got a ph meter so i can't tell you. I just use tap water standing for 24hours.
Would flushing help the situation?

i wouldnt flush, the nutburn isnt too severe ur plants will recover from that... just dont use any nutes for the next few waterings
