I was wondering if any one had any information on this Blue Rhino Strain I purchased from OverGrow. Have been running it for almost 6 month in my setup and am still having problems when it flowers. Does anyone Know anything about the ferts this strain likes.

no - but the strain, if it is the same, shows up in NorCal, occasionally. What sort of problems do you refer to..?

First I would like to mention that these are grown in soil. In the 4th week of flowering I give my plants there first dose of nutrients. I only use sweet leaf, carbo load and potash plus. I also water with a light epsom salt solution for secondary nutrients. These plants in about a week after start showing potassium problems. Leaves start turning yellow with small brown dots. Overall growth is slowed, low yields. right now I get about 4oz dried off a 2 1/2ft plant running a 600watt light and using Co2. Its all about airflow! My NorthernBerry stain has no problems cant figure out why the Blue Rhino's a bitch. Any idea would be great

I cannot even begin to address your plant's needs. The regimen and schedule you are using is bizzare. I recommend looking at J. Cervantes Books and going from there. Your plants are stressed out, and will be prone to diseases and pests for the remnainder of their lives, if possible, it is a good idea to start over, and feed those things....! Carbo load is a good product, I use it, but it is not a nute...!

Good yields, tho...!

I believe I know the Blue Rhino your running and its some good gear for sure. Why would you wait till 4 weeks into flower to feed those?????Right there alone is going to bring on problems to flowering plants in my opinion.Sounds like you need K for sure along with some more P , you need that K to keep the cells healthy to transfer all the other nutes to the plant and by not feeding it half its life in flowering is bound to effect every aspect in growth. I am surprised you even got the yield you did. I would go back to basics on feeding both veg and flower and you would prolly see improvments right off.

I tried using ferts right from the start but my plants still went into a fert lock of some sort. I read some where when using soil indoors most soils have enough ferts in them to last at lest 2 to 3 weeks into flowing then you would start adding ferts from that point. I also read that epsom salt should be used on the 14th day and 30th day into flowering to help the plant take in secondary trace elements. I use this same soil on my NorthernBerry and my Rockbud BlueBerry and have no problems. These strain stay emerald green the whole way through with some purple and blue hues. This Blue Rhino is very touchy could my humidity be off maybe I do live in a dry climate.
