Hey af'ers
this is my tent i just set up after converting from 2 small cabs. It runs 2 90w ufo's and ten 14w t5's. i have 2 21w extraction fans and one 21w for air movement. I run lights on 20/4. total lights and fan wattage used is 383watts.

I have 1week old bhd's x 17 (one didnt germ) regular. they are small because they started outdoors in the rain with no sun (got too eager). they have been in tent for last 2 days and are picking up growth. temps average 27c humidity 55%. of a night it is cooler, and this is with lights running. probably less with lights off but i wouldnt know.

These will be for seed run and personal smoke. well enough rambling heres my setup. i will update with pics once a week. any questions please ask

Looks interesting. Do you think you get less heat with 310W led/cfl combo than say a 250 HID?

Have you managed to get a carbon filter going with those axial fans?

no carbon filter. not big enough space to worry about and i dont have close neighbors. not less heat so much just evenly distributed and i personally like led's and t5's.

thought i might add that i only run the led's until they sex so that they stretch a bit and to save power. once they start to flower then the t5's come on to dense up those buds.

i think they are a bit over 2 weeks old now. i had 5 males show, 4 of which i killed and kept the best one. also killed 3 micro phenos so am now left with 1 male and 9 females from 17 seeds. the females have all started sprouting pistils.

I also changed my t5's around cus watering them was a bitch. guess i didnt think it all through. but is working good now.
they are still small from their shitty start in life but they are progressing. i dont expect too much out of them tho will wait for next time. this is just a breeding tent anyway.

I have also got 2 seeded onyx plants which i would like to cross the seeds from with the bhd next grow.they grew with only 5 hours of light a day at most outdoors during rainy season but still gave me something. heres some pics

ultimately i want to make my own af strain using a reg strain to breed with my af's. gonna use the strain called '1024' to cross with my onyx and bhd. wierd huh but sounds good. will be workin on this soon.

ok so i ditched the t5's they were pain in the arse and ive ordered a new 240w 3wdiode blackstar led. wish i didnt waste my time on the chinese 90w ufo's. this new light can do great things from what ive seen.

i'm takin down the onyx girls 2moz. they are only for seed and maybe my gf can make some browny slice. mmmmm...browny. before you say how small they are you have to know that they were grown outdoors through the heaviest rain season ever and got nearly no light the whole time but still produced seeds. i put them in tent for last week to mature seeds.

hbd's vegin out alright. they need this new light though. cant wait for the real deal. gf took my camera so im using hers. it is shit but here they are:

well i harvested the onyx. kept the seeds for future grows and made the rest of the plant into 4 browny biscuits. i had one last nite then waited half hour and nothing happened so i ate the other 3 so i didnt waste them and i was thinking they werent working then about an hour later i started my 6 hour high lol. it was intense. whoever says auto's lack potency should try some nice browny's with the stuff!

well anyway here's the bhd's at 1 month old give or take few days but i can see why people dont use the chinese ufo's now. theyre going ok but can wait to get my new light to beef these babys up. all i can say it is good to be someone who doesnt have to buy weed!

well i got my new light this week. had it on for a few days and can already notice the growth speed. very impressed

well nothing else has changed other than the girls are getting well seeded up and they are starting to develope a beautiful smell. mmmm. like any auto i will let them go to 12 weeks and by then hopefully i get something good off them to make browny's with. gotta love em

outdoor runs for sure. that's what i do best lol. go riding in the middle of nowhere and drop lotsa these bad boys in patches. it's good fun. thanks for taking the time to have a look mitch. love your grows man

hey killerweed you gotta read last weeks post. i pulled the onyx as she was ready and made the plant into four browny's. ate em all and had really strong hit surprisingly. lasted hours. was nice relaxed high though

Tis a busy time of year. I've got one inside plant (its like an aquarium, I watch it in the evening to soothe my soul) and lots going on in my outside gardens, vegetable and herb!

I'm sure you'll love the Blackstar. I'm very happy with the one I have and plan on a larger 4 x4 grow next winter so I'll need get another!

well sorry to say i didnt get to finish this grow right through because i am currently moving house but i did get enough grow time in to let my seeds mature for future runs. buds smell pugent but i would rather grow onyx any day. sory to dissapoint. next run in my new place will be onyx so till then.
