Blue himalaya or HBD?

Guys - I'm getting ready to start a new grow and I need a wee bit of advice. My grow space is small - just over 2 ft in height - so I'm thinking to choose one or two from the following short strains: Short stuff #1, Snowryder, Mossy's Gems, Auto Hindu Kush and either BH or HBD.

Has anyone got experience to compare Blue Himalaya and Himalaya Blue Diesel? How do they compare for height, amount of smell, variation in phenotypes etc. I'm looking for short plants with not much branching so I can keep them under control when they're packed tight in a small cab. Stealth is important, so low odor is best (although I'm planning to make a scrubber).

Any info would be greatly appreciated...

Anything with Diesel in is likely to stink! I havnt grown blue himalaya but I have grown HBD which is an amazing strain, but it can grow pretty big so if height is a problem....

Yeah, Dargo, I suspected that with dielsel in the mix it might be a bit stinky.

Thanks for the info. mate... maybe I should be leaning towards the BH. I think that might be a shorter plant too. Anyone got anything on that?

HBD over the BH forsure, i grew out a free BH 5 pack i got. One good male, 2 hermies, 1 good female, and a dwarf. If i paid for what i got i'd feel disgruntled about it.

I do plan of testing the BH seeds i made, the BH male i got had resin glands all over. But that will be done outdoors when i get "around" to it.

The high was ok, on par for most autos. Taste was A+ very blueberry.

HBD is a winner in my book but as mentioned, can stink with the diesel in it. For short strains also consider Hindu Kush and Pakistani Ryder. I grew both last year and none of them got above 12" or so. Of course they didn't yield as much, around 1/2 oz. average.

Hmmm.... 'A+ very blueberry' - that sounds great. That's the main reason I'm considering one of these strains, but your experience with the hermies and the dwarf kinda puts me off, Bh. Pity... I'd be pissed if I bought a pack and that happened.

Yep - I picked that up from what you said in your other posts, Muddy... I think the Hindu Kush is a defo for me. Lot's of other people seem to like it too and the hight sounds manageable.

Maybe I'll go with the HK (or the Snowryder) first, then try the BH later, then if they come out all fucked up, I won't be too disappointed coz I'll have some stash by then.

Do you think I'd be able to keep that down around 12 - 14 inches without a struggle? I've heard a lot of good about Bluestreak but I thought it was a bigger plant, no?

It has it's smaller phenos, as well as larger. I haven't grown blue streak in years. So i couldn't really tell you what the newer stock is like. I do have a new pack i plan on running some time this year.

You could always tie down the bigger phenos (LST style), or cull them all-together. Actually now that i think of it, check out hissers thread on blue streak. He lst'd his, and got a NICE yeild. I think he also grows in a small space. I wouldn't count it out on size alone, if there is a will there is a way.

Interesting... I had discounted Bluestreak because of the height thing, but now you've got me thinking this could be the way to go, Bh... I had to LSD my last crop in my PC cab so I've got some experience there. I'll go have a read at hisser's thread....

I planted 2 blue streaks and 1 HBD on April 28th, here are pictures I took tonight of them. They still have a little while to go, the 1 BS and HBD are behind because I didn't up pot them into the 2L bottles until last week. The yield doesn't look like it will be much, they were free seeds. I'm looking for high CBD strains for help with chrons/IBS. AF or non AF, as I do have space and equipment for pretty much anything, as long as it doesn't get more than 15-20' tall, b/c I can train plants that get up to that size easiely.

I also have solid bottom, ak47 x nycd x blue streak, pekeruder, blue streak and HBD and I don't have any experience with autoflowers. Can anyone tell me more about these strains?
