First some Blue Goo pics to get you in the mood:
Blue Goo is a strain created by Blue Grass Seeds.
Blue Goo is Blue Bubble juice X Double G
This strain was easy to grow. It reminded me of Juicyfruit Thai with the plant structure and the heaping amount of trichomes on the buds. It didn't branch out very much, just one tall stick with bud sites and a large cola on the top. There were no special nutrient requirements that I noticed. There was a faint blueberry smell when rubbed. It was very nice, hard to describe, definately pleasant.
Now for the smoke part of the report. One thing I noticed about this strain is the smoothness of the smoke, very smooth, even the freshly dried buds weren't harsh at all, just beautiful nicely burning smooth smoke. I did cure the rest of my harvest for a month and it did improve the taste and smells, but not a whole lot.
The smell is hard to describe, it is complex, full bodied and very good, it has a saliva inducing effect. It smells like sugary blue goodness, there is some sweetness in there like sweet tooth, but there is some fruitiness as well, which is all overwhelmed by the rich dank smell of all those trichomes.
The smoke itself is very good but complex as well, it is like all the subtle tastes work together leaving a smooth cool smoke. I am wondering if there is a hint of menthol in the mix, because the coolness of the smoke reminds me of when I smoked some menthol cigarettes years ago.
Now for the high. This is not a daytime smoke. I tend to smoke this strain near the end of the night or when I really want to get stoned. There is a sedative effect to it, but there is also a slight up to it as well, but the UP will be overtaken if you smoke too much of it and you and will be planted on the couch. Sensations are increased (great for frisky couples) with no or little paranoia, it definitely has some medicinal qualities to it.
I would rate the Potency as above average to strong.
