Blue Dream smoke report

Got this at the Patients Place in SF. Was $55 an 1/8 and they have half eighths all the way up to oz's. The strain has a funky smell to it, there are a few plants I have come across in my day outside the cannabis world that smell very similar to this, has a musky funk to it with fruit undertones, def no haze spicey smell to it whatsoever. But the funk smell is very overpowering in the smell of the pot, the smell of the smoke and the flavor of the smoke as well.

Its much more stoney than it gets ya high, a good all around pot to smoke in the evening before bed. Wont knock you out from a few bowls, but if you smoked a whole joint or a bit more than a half gram ya would prolly be ready for a nap. The stone comes in waves every ten to fifteen minutes and the peak of the high comes a few mins after smoking and ends about 20 mins later, you can still feel the sativa in it trying to come out, its odd how you can feel the soaring up high in it being held down by the indica, makes it fun to listen to slower music while medicated.

An hour or two after smoking you have a stupor feeling and are a little bit lazy. Wouldnt be good to smoke this before work or in the AM as you will just look stoned, lost in the land of the distant stare.

no beans or visible PM/mold, fluffy without being airy, a few white hairs in there so might be a bit early. Pistils intact so prolly not skuffed.

Rate the visible trichome content from 1-10 none-totally covered.
comment: good coverage of trichs on inside and outside of bud, the few sugar leaves left on the sample are well frosted.

3. Use an X to indicate the colors that are present in the trichome
heads under magnification or list the percentages of each color for
a more precise report. Leave these fields blank if you do not have a powerful magnifier.

comment: nice and easy to break up, could break up a joint in one hand pretty quick, good calyx to leaf ratio.

comment: Strong musky smell to it, with strong fruit undertones and a slight berry smell, interestingly refreshing smell to it.

PHYSICAL EXAMINATION COMMENTS:
Good all around texture and quality, not too dense, not too airy, good smell without having to be broken up or fondled to raise a stink.
Could of gone a bit longer judging by the hairs, but the cured trichs say she was ready to go.

comment: If you have a good indica already or favor sativas this strain isnt that hot,
other than that it is a good all around strain, if the flowering time is short
and yield is high id keep it. However I dont care for indicas.

FINAL COMMENTS:

A good relaxing smoke. not powerfull enough to put the avg medical user to sleep, but a perfect herb to have after dessert, as the movie or tv program is wrapping up, just before one gets ready for bed. Enhances the sound of slower music, and leaves the front of the head with a calming cloudy buzz. Originally rated the potency and effect onset a bit lower but it builds up every 10 or so minutes a handfull of times. Found its also very easy to overcome the high of this, but it will creep back in. So if something surprises/scares you, you will go back to sober in a heartbeat, high will creep back but about half as stong as before. I want to rate it a bit higher in the sativa column, i can feel the sativa trying to poke its head out but it gets chased away by the indica every time.

Enhances the sound of slower music, and leaves the front of the head with a calming cloudy buzz. Originally rated the potency and effect onset a bit lower but it builds up every 10 or so minutes a handfull of times. Found its also very easy to overcome the high of this, but it will creep back in. Yep , that's a pretty accurate description of the meds i picked up recently over at Harborside (Oakland) ....not the kind of smoke that gets you bouncing off the walls and a pretty strong relaxing high thats perfect for evening settling in ....and bedtime rest . Good med for that.

*The plant has a nice structure , branching and growth pattern.... so far veged to 20" . Might cross it with C99 and mellow that Cinderalla girl out ! ;o)

I smoked some Blueberry Haze that I got from a co op here in southern california.. not sure if it's the same but it was very tasty and the high was just as you mentioned
