Blue colored strains ??

Was wondering are there any strains that do infact come out blue? just wondering cause i know its based off anthocyanins, so i know its possible sense i have heard of strains with blue hairs. but has anybody ever seen any blue bud?

prity much just looking for a list of strains with either blue bud (or blueish) or strains with blue hairs.

I smoked weed with a blue sheen to it and tasted menthol on top of pine 10 years ago. I'll never forget it. I brought it with me for acid tripping in big sur. I wish I got to see it under a scope. I think blue trich veins are a thing, like purple/red, right? Wish I had more info for you but I know this mythical blue weed exists.

well thanks dude. im going to try a breading project . im going to try to find strains with blue, purple, orange ,and red and try to cross bread them to get a nice multi color strain going.

Oh boi here we go again, hope I don't get bashed again...

Did some research into "purple" and coloration of strains in general because I was interested.

Here is how I understood it:
- Most if not all, at the very least many strains have the genetic potential to turn purple/blue/orange under the right environmental circumstances
- Certain strains have been bred specifically for their coloration and have higher chances of showing colors but it is my understanding that environmental factors are always involved (the classic lowering temperatures towards the end of flowering, cold water etc.)
- I believe that the "coloring" is a defensive mechanism to environmental factors which some strains have a stronger, some a weaker tendency towards (or genetic "weapons" equipped to deal with such circumstances

Now all that being said, where to start?
There is a thread here on IC (sorry forgot where but should turn up in a search) where people show off their most colorful buds.
I saw a strain called "Sirius" by some dude and it blew me away in terms of color profile, many others were also impressed.
I would get in touch with that guy and ask him what he used then take it from there.
